Nikolai sat at the huge table in the Privy Council chamber and assumed his best 'You have my full attention' face. They didn't have his full attention of course, not even a fraction of his attention. While they were prattling on about something to do with special arrangements for the Archbishop and his retinue, Nikolai was thinking about Theo's red lips and what they looked like wrapped around his cock. He was smiling to himself, remembering how she had been so startled when he had shot his load right over her gorgeous little tits. She had been lucky he hadn't come down her throat. It had taken every ounce of his control to pull out just in time. He hadn't thought she was quite ready to swallow his spunk, but from the awe struck look on her face when she trailed a finger through the thick globs dropping off one of her nipples maybe he had been wrong. Jesus God in Heaven, that had been the most fantastic sight of his charmed life so far. He was hard thinking about it. Thank God for the table. He stroked the smooth surface and wondered what Theo would look like bent over it, her glorious hair covering her face, her arse bare and reddened from the spanking he had given her. God, he wanted to run to her chambers right now and nail her hard against a wall! Last night hadn't nearly been enough. He needed to get inside her as soon as possible and find out what her tight pussy felt like clamped around his aching cock.

"You Highness?" someone was saying, and his thoughts were dragged back to the room.

He grunted, in a less than regal fashion.

"Your Highness? What are your thoughts on the subject?"

Damnation. What in the hell had they been talking about?

His mother's vexed voice piped up from far down the other end of the table. "Nikolai, please make more of an effort to follow the conversation. We are discussing your wedding after all."

Apparently, his 'You have my full attention' face did not fool his mother. She knew him too well. He tried his very best to keep the scowl off his face. He hated it when his mother scolded him in public as if he were a child, but he was not going to let any of these pompous, overweening functionaries see it.

Turning to the Lord President, he said coolly, "I have every faith that you will make the correct decisions concerning every aspect of my forthcoming nuptials. The entire arrangements are in your very capable hands," and standing up, hoping to God and the Archangels that his erection was concealed, he said, "Now Gentleman ... Mother, I must bid you farewell," and he quickly left before the Queen could comment.

Queen Elena offered the Lady Helene another almond tart. "They are quite delicious," she said. "Our new French pastry chef is turning out to be something of a marvel."

"Maybe just one more, but I am rather wary of putting on weight, especially with the wedding just weeks away."

"Now you mention the wedding, my dear ..." the Queen interjected, "... how are things with Nikolai?"

Helene stopped chewing. "Things with Nikolai?" she repeated, and swallowed, the delicious almond tart suddenly tasting like sawdust.

"Yes," the Queen said patiently. "How are you and Nikolai getting on? You must be terribly excited at the prospect of finally marrying. Has Nikolai expressed his excitement too?"

Helene desperately tried to swallow the almond tart and used the time to compose an appropriate and diplomatic reply. "He has been most attentive," she eventually managed to say.

The Queen fixed her with her cool blue gaze and the hairs on the back of Helene's neck rose. No one had ever questioned her in this way on the subject of her betrothed, not her father, or her stepmother, or her sisters. Why was the Queen suddenly so curious? She did her best to gaze back at the Queen equally calmly, but she could not maintain complete composure and her eyes flicked away and stared at the floor. They were seated on a rather intricately patterned carpet on which a lion pawed at a deer.

"You are an accomplished liar, my dear," the Queen said, "But I can see through you."

Helene's eyes shot upwards in shock.

The Queen smoothed out her skirts. "Nikolai avoids you, doesn't he? He is always somewhere else. I have hardly ever seen you both in the same room, unless it is an occasion like last night's ball when he can't avoid it. And then you barely say three words to each other."

Helene's voice came out in a hesitant whisper. "I am still a maid. It is not proper to spend too much time with a man." And she blushed at the lie, thinking of her nighttime stroll with Gabriel and the ensuing dreams she had had of him naked and sweating.

"Hmm, that's the accepted behavior but every couple who is in love flouts that rule. I certainly did and if you truly loved each other you would be sneaking around stealing time together, I assure you. And you certainly wouldn't be standing at opposite ends of a room."

"Maybe we are attempting to keep up appearances? He is a Prince after all. All eyes are upon him."

"Do you think me a fool?"

Helene chose to interpret that as a rhetorical question.

"Do you expect me to believe that you are conducting passionate liaisons behind closed doors while appearing to be indifferent to each other in public?"

Helene looked down at her feet in defeat. She just didn't have the energy to lie, not to the Queen at any rate.

"Oh Helene," the Queen sighed, taking her hand. "You are an exquisitely beautiful child and you will make a wonderful consort to my son, but you cannot just stand back while he snubs you. I for one, would not entertain that behavior from a man."

"But what am I supposed to do?" Helene asked, tears embarrassingly pricking her eyes.

"You must use what you have, my darling. You must use your intelligence and your beauty to bring him to heel."

Helene blinked at her in shock. "But ... I don't know how. I have no experience ..." she stammered.

The Queen stroked her hand. "I know, my darling. You have led a sheltered life, but so did I until I discovered my sensuality, and then I was a very quick learner and I have every confidence that you will be too."

Helene's blush was so deep, she could feel it spread to her neck and décolletage.

The Queen noticed and said quickly, "But of course it is embarrassing to discuss things such as this with your Queen and future Mother-in-law! Therefore, I have a solution. I will send someone to you who will tutor you in the ways of seduction."

Helene did not think anything could be more embarrassing than this, she wanted the ground to open up and swallow her. Seduction? What on earth did she mean?

The Queen laughed. "I will torture you no more. You can go now, but later today I will send your tutor to you and I promise you, my dear, that very soon Nikolai will cease to avoid you. You will have him panting around your heels like a love struck puppy!"
