After a long day of work you finally got home to your apartment. When you went inside the smell of brownies is the first thing you noticed, so you placed your bags down and went to the kitchen.
You saw your boyfriend Jack mixing a bowl of brownie batter, humming a tune and still not noticing your presence.
"Jack what are you doing? " you say startling him and accidently dropping the bowl.
"Omygod the mix! " He screamed, frowning when the batter spilled all over the floor.
"Oh geez sorry i didn't mean to do that. " You say picking up the bowl.
"It's fine y/n I'm just glad you're back... Its a good thing the bowl is not made of glass. " He said, helping you clean up the mess.
"What are you doing anyways." You ask.
"I'm just making you something to eat when you get back and well I guess I was bored. " He says, trying to make a new batter.
You noticed the brownies that are already cooling on the counter. "Wow these look good. " You say getting hungry.
"Well of course I made them. " Jack said.
You giggled because of what he said then it turned into a full laugh when you noticed what he's wearing.
"What are you even wearing. " You say your laughter dying down a bit. He was wearing an apron that said 'kiss the cook' but you honestly thought that it was cute on him.
"What? it's efficient, gets the job done and probably the only one I have." He said as he mixed the new set of batter.
"Okay whatever you say. " you said, giving him a quick kiss.

You helped out Jack in cleaning up the kitchen as you both waited for the brownies to cool off.
When both of you were done Jack started to set up his laptop so you can watch the office together.
"What season are we watching? " you ask, placing the plate of brownies on the table.
"Season 5. " he said.
"Oh cool. " You say as you sat on the couch.
For the rest of the night both of you were just eating brownies, cuddling and watching the office until you both fell asleep.
