"So that's Luke?" Calum asked as he removed his shirt from his body, revealing the toned chest underneath. She just nodded her head and tried to keep her gaze somewhere else.

"He seems cool, I like him." A shy smile was returned to him as Luke entered inside the flat.

After Calum had went back in the building the two of them talked for a while, she had to tell him that Calum was actually gonna live with her and that her nonna was going to live in the closest elderly place from there. She thought he would be grumpy because of her living with another person who is not a girl, but he just replied with "That's awesome now we can be alone at your place." 

The way Luke entered made her jump a little as he let the door shut loudly. Both of the boys exchanged looks as Luke was the first one to speak, sitting next to her.

"It's Calum right?" He began, his voice breaking the silence, letting the two friends turn their attention to him.

"I kinda acted like a dick earlier and I'm sorry." He rubbed his chin for a brief second before allowing his eyes to meet the ground beneath his feet.

"It's alright man, no worries." Calum approached towards him, tapping him on his shoulder and getting a sincire smile in return.

"But if one day I see Lia in tears and I find out that you were the reason behind them I-"

"That will never happen. I'm sure of it." As he finished his sentence she could feel her cheeks burning up and somehow she managed to pick up some courage and look him into his eyes. He smiled widely as he noticed how hers were glowing. He cupped her cheek with his hand running a line on the skin below his thumb as she leaned her head a little onto it.

"Yeah okay can we not get all emotional now, I'm getting kinda hungry." Short chuckles were heard as everyone agreed to go and grab something to eat. 

They made their way towards the small pizzeria settled in the park, walking in a slow pace as the sun began to hide behind the mountains. The place wasn't as crowded as it usually was, making the three of them find a free table in a matter of seconds. A middle aged lady approached towards them, carrying a piece of paper and a pen in her hand. She stood next to her as she waited for them to make up their minds so she could write down the order.

As they waited for their food to arrive, Calum tried to make the situation as awkward as he could for her. He started talking on and on about how she managed to embarrase herself in every possible situation. While her cheeks were burning red and her head was facing the floor, Luke seemed to enjoy his time and laugh like there's no tomorrow. 

Eventhough she kept on punching his arm and throwing death glares at Calum she had to admit thas was one of those moments she felt truly happy. 

After they had eaten most of what was on the plate, Calum raised his hand and asked for the check. She stood there awkwardly as the two boys debated on who was going to pay. Knowing they would be stuck there all night if she didn't interrupt she raised her voice so they would pay attention to her. 

In the end they split the check so both of them got what they wanted. 

The way back home was filled with laughter as they made her tell all the secrets those 'cool kids' had. While they were telling the latest gossip on who hooked up with who, she was sat close enough to listen to all of that, and sometimes even laugh at how immature and stupid her classmates were.

Calum couldn't stop lauging at what he had missed on since he moved and Luke couldn't stop admiring how beautiful she looked when she smilled. He loved they way she closed her eyes when she was saying something funny and the way her lips curved into an addicting smile. 

Slowly, without realizing they reached Luke's house, which seemed to be awfully quiet and peaceful. Calum felt as he was a third wheel, for the god knows what time that day, so with his hands in his pockets and a fast whistling song he walked towards the flat. 

They were left alone as Luke's hand was placed on her waist, pulling her body close to his as his lips found hers. They moved in a kinda weird pace, surprising her as she didn't know he could be that gentle. This time she could feel his tongue brush on her bottom lip, making her totaly loosen up and place her hand on his stomach, close to the button of his jeans. 

He pulled away, not breaking eye contact before speaking.

"I like this side of you." He was tugging on his bottom lip as she gave him a quick peck on the lips before jogging away to the building still facing him.

"What side?" She said playfully as she entered inside and he lost sight of her.
