It's a nice day in mid spring, all the flowers are blooming and the sun makes it just warm enough to leave the appartment with a light jacket on.
You love the spring.
Central perk is not so busy as you walk in to drink a coffee, Monica and Phoebe are already sitting on the couch and you wave at them before walking over to the counter to order a coffee.
"Thanks Gunther." you smile as you take the cup of coffee out of his hands.
"Hi girls!" you sit down in the sofa next to them and they welcome you with a smile.
"Hi Y/n, you look good!" Phoebe says before taking a sip of her tea.
"How are you?" Monica asks.
"I'm good, thanks."
Phoebe keeps on staring at you and it makes you very uncomfortable. You sort of now why she's probably staring but try to play it cool and act oblivious.
"Uh pheebs? Something wrong?" you ask and she nods.
"That's my shirt isn't it?" "No.." you lie and quickly take a sip of your drink. "It is! But you can keep it, it looks better on you anyways." she shrugs what makes Monica laugh.
Joey and Chandler walk into the place and a sigh leaves your mouth as you look at them. Joey has been your crush since the moment you first laid eyes on him, at first it was because of his looks ofcourse. Now it's just about him, about how he makes you feel, how he will make your day if you're sad and how you think that he's just perfect.
"Guys, I had this date last night.."
Joey begins to tell his story as he sits down next to Monica on the couch. You can feel your heart break, this sucks. Your crush is going on other dates and he clearly doesn't know that he's your crush and it bothers you.
"But then she did something bad, like seriously bad.." those words wake you out of your thoughts.
"What could be so bad?" Monica asks while she looks at Joey. "Did she chew with her mouth open, I hate that sound." you almost shudder by just the thought of it.
"Or did she not want to split the bill?" Ross asks who joined the conversation while you were daydreaming.
"Did she confess that she was a serial killer?" Phoebe asks and everybody looks at her in a weird way. "What? it happend to me once.." she shrugs and you laugh but still look kind of concerned, so does the rest.
"No guys, you all guessed wrong." Joey sighs. "Then just tell us man!" Chandler says and he nods.
"She took some of my fries!" You're the only one who seems to gasp.
"That isn't that bad!" Monica says and you scoff together with Joey. "Yeah it is, Joey doesn't share his food. Everyone should know that.." you say before taking a sip of your drink.
Everybody looks at you and when you look up you get a weird look on your face. "What?" "It's so cute that you agree with Joey on that." Phoebe says and Joey can't help but smile at you. The only thing you hope is that he finally realizes that you are perfect for him.
