Do you still love me?

It's hard waking up. My reason? I can't see the sun shining through my window or what i was told i had. My cane is always beside me. Everywhere, anywhere at any time. It's like kids nowadays with their phones. Last i remembered, the only person who was obsessed with electronics was Kenma. And before you say it, i liked music, which was the reason for headphones.

Even being blind, i still love it. Actually i might even like it more now that hearing is the sense i use a lot. Of course i was jamming to my music when i was startled by my brother. He placed his hand on my shoulder and i shook like a cat when avoiding water.

"Nii-chan, why'd you do that?!"

"Ah...sorry."

"Hmph."

I took my headphones off my head and had it wrap around my neck.

"I wanted to tell you that i'm gonna be out today with Sakura. Are you gonna be fine?"

"Yes..i'm gonna be fine. Now leave."

"Mm..."

He grabbed the doorknob and left quietly. I think i ruined his mood. But that's mot my problem. If he doesn't wanna mess up his date, then he can try himself.

2 hours pass by...

"So what do i do now?" I thought. That's when i heard a honk outside my "window". I wonder who that is. Well, first i can't just let them in and second i don't have the capability to do so. Shucks then, they'll just have to wait until my brother's home.

A click. The sound from the lock on the front door. I heard the creek then a light slam. Freaked out, i tried reaching for my cane but in the midst of my panic attack, i couldn't concentrate. When i heard those steps getting closer to my room, the more panicked i got.

"Hey Tsukki..."

Are you fucking kidding me? Oh my fucking holy water i almost died. Not only that but the person who showed was...drumroll please...Kuroo. I could you not.

"Oh my god, you fu- scared me! Don't just walk in to anybody's house Kuroo-san."

Yes, i did recognize his voice.

"Oh my god i totally forgot your blind, shit i'm sorry."

"You know what, whatever, it's fine. Just, what are you doing here?"

"Well...your brother kind of asked me to watch you. He said not to tell you but i think you should know."

"What the fuck?! Im 23, are you kidding me? Does he think i'm a kid. I swear to god when he gets home i'm gonna beat his ass with my cane." Kuroo went quiet. Shit. "...Sorry."

"No, i get it. But i'm actually here for another reason. I wanna take you on a date."

When those words left his mouth i went still. I was in complete shock.

"H-huh? Wait what do you mean?"

"I'm taking you out. To lunch-dinner, if that makes sense?"

"Uh..i- yeah sure, i guess. I mean i have nothing better to do."

He helped me get out the house and into his car. It smelt nice, like roses.

"Um, so i got you these."

"What are they?"

"Roses."

I blushed.

"Oh! Thank you. I could smell it but i didn't know you would get them for me."

"Yeah, i remembered you telling me you liked roses so."

"Well, i really appreciate it. Thank you Kuroo-san."

After i said that, he seemed to calm down. Nerves i guess. Kuroo told me that the place was a secret. I was gonna find out by the smell, probably. The drive to the location was quiet but calming. It wasn't awkward and the window was open so i could feel the breeze against my skin. Everything we passed by smelt so refreshing, like we were near plants.

The roses were meant to be a hint, we were going to a flower field. The place is called Shikisai-no-oka. We were taking a ride through the fields of bright and colorful flowers. Though i couldn't see what they looked like, i could sense that they were very beautiful.

Since this was a "date" after all, Kuroo decided to get a cart. We were free to go anywhere we wanted.

"So, any specific flower you wanna go to?"

"Take me everywhere!" I grinned.

Kuroo sighed, a very sweet one. It seemed as though he was happy that i liked his spot of choice. Although it took a long time, it was worth it. I rested my head on Kuroo's shoulder, he was slightly shook by that but he said nothing about it. The smell of fresh flowers was so soothing that i almost fell asleep on Kuroo's shoulder.

The wind slightly blowing against our bodies, the fragrance of flowers, and the warmth of Kuroo's heat coming off him, this was the best day i've had since i was diagnosed. Everything seemed so slow at the time and every bit of it i enjoyed.

Once it was over, i felt like a weight just fell of my shoulders and i could run, forever. I stretched my arms up in the air. I yawned, exhausted but energized. Fortunately this was just the beginning of our date. Who knew the night would end just a tad better.
