Reunion

Three years. Three years has passed since that day you left me. But maybe I'll see you again soon.

I came home from work that night, calling out his name.

"Tsukki...?"

...

No response. I became frantic and ran to our room. Absolutely empty of all of his belongings. His clothes were gone. Hangers were on the floor and on our bed. But there was one thing he took that made me hold onto hope of seeing him once again, his dinosaur plushy that I got him for our first year anniversary.

To this day, I still think about him. I know I was at fault and I cannot change that but neither will my love for him. It was wrong to cheat, and I owned up to my mistake by letting him leave. He might've moved on in the 3 years we were apart, but I'd like one more chance to talk to him.

1 day later...

I had to be dreaming. This was unexpected but I thought, "This is my chance." 

Earlier that day...

Kuroo. I got a call from Lev earlier saying that were having a high school reunion

To: Kenma

Really when? and with who? if Bokuto is there, im definitely going 😸

From: Kenma

Idk but u can invite him ig. we're holding it with the players from Karasuno. ur friends with that tall blonde guy right?

No one knew Tsukki and I were in a relationship. Everyone just assumed we were good friends. We had never told anyone about our relationship, including Yamaguchi and Kenma. At the time, we were scared of judgement.

To: Kenma

woahh wait. tsukki is gonna be there??? with who 😽

From: Kenma

well their ex captain said that hes coming with his brother

To: Kenma

OMG 🙀 thank u thank u thank u kenma, im definitely going. tell me when it is, call me.

Kenma called me an hour later and told me the plans. I went shopping of course, I had to look good. I mean, I'm already charming enough but this was special.

1 week later...

I arrived at the location. It was a restaurant that served noodles but the place wasn't like the usual noodle place, it was big. Guess they chose a spot that can fit a lot of people. The first ones here were my teammates and Akaashi and Bokuto.

"Broooo, i missed you"

"BROOO"

"I MISSED YOU"

Oh how good this felt. I'm feeling nostalgic but enough about that. As time passed by, more and more people came. Surprisingly not as much as I expected there to be. An hour later and Tsukki still wasn't here so I asked his best friend, Yamaguchi.

"Umm, Yamaguchi, is Tsukki coming? He's taking quite a while."

Tsukki is responsible and never had he been late, to anything.

"Wait, Kuroo-san didn't you know what happened? I thought you two were pretty close since you guys were roommates." he asked confused.
(Omg they were roommates)

"Huh? What do you me-"

The door opened and the chime played.

Two people walked in, one taller than the other. One holding the door open. One holding a cane.

Tsukki is baaaaack •~•

Never have I imagined that people actually held these get togethers. I thought people only wrote them in stories but whatever. A high school reunion...with the Nekoma players. I didn't wanna go, I didn't wanna have to face Kuroo again. Since three years ago. I decided I never wanted to see him again. But my brother was a very stubborn person and forced me to go against my own will but at least he was coming with me.

I heard that Yamaguchi and my other teammates are gonna be there. Let's hope they keep company so I don't have to talk to Kuroo alone. We're done and over.

Over the course of three years, many things has happened. The first month I stayed at my brothers apartment, I had trouble seeing things. My vision was so bad that we decided to visit the optometrist.

Disclaimer: I don't know anything about this except for the basics so correct me if i'm wrong -Kei

I got diagnosed with glaucoma. My doctor told me that most people usually take 10 years until they become completely blind, but because I already had problems with my vision, it'll take half the time for me. I can barely see the shapes of anything. People are the hardest to see, they look like blurred blobs.

When it was finally the day to go to the reunion, we were already 30 minutes late. Because of my condition, it is hard to go out. Not only will I get the most attention because I have a cane, I'll be the last one entering which means I'll be the center of attention, I don't want to be. Especially since Kuroo will be there.

As I walked in, I could hear lots of talking at a certain area (mainly Bokuto). Then a chime. It was probably the door but as soon as that chime quieted down, the voices weren't there anymore. Of course. I was being stared at because I was walking around with a cane. I could feel everyone's eyes on me and thinking that Kuroo was too did not make it any better.
