Chapter 30: Final fight

You ran and passed by Shoto and Inasa as they took care of Orca together, finally!

You see that there were others transporting the wounded to another part and you decided it was best to help them out than in combat.

On your way there you could see some of the henchmen coming up behind you. You were about to fight back but all of a sudden the ground started to rumble but only for the enemy.

"Thought you might need some help!" You turned towards the familiar voice.

"Captain!" You were glad you were getting help because let's face it, you really needed it. The tremors stopped and the villains were on the ground, struggling to stand.

"My Quirks absorption! I can absorb/drain energy and release it as a blast wave. I happened to use up a lot before this so I'm kinda running out. You thought quickly and raced over to him.

"Does that apply to attacks?" You could see the smirk appearing on his face.

"Hell yeah! Give me what you got and I'll have your back while you rescue the rest of the victims. You summoned your shield and started throwing punches at his hands with all your strength, using your shields gave it more of an impact which helped him out.

"Is that enough?" You asked seeing the villains charging towards you two.

"Whoo Hoo!! YEAH! PERFECT!" You could tell he was getting hyperactive and ready to fight back.

"Uh...you okay there?" You asked just in case.

"Yeah! I just get like this when I store up a lot of energy! Go! I've got this, don't worry about these guys." He readied himself.

"Thanks Captain!" You were quick to get the adults and children to the new location. You had only used a small portion of your stamina on Takara but apart from that you basically had all of your energy back and you were planning on using it all to make sure that everyone made it out 'alive'.

Making your way over to the first victim you teleported them to safety and that's all you were doing, you noticed there were others struggling to move the people that were heavier or bigger than they were and you helped them out by teleporting them as your priority. You went back and for back and forth and you found a kid stuck in the rubble kinda far away.

"I can't feel my legs!" He cried. You were a bit nervous as to how you were going to move him, but you had to take the risk since there was a nearby wall about to fall over.

"Everything's gonna be okay!" You reached out and took his hand and teleported directly back to the First aid station. You held him in your arms and fell to your knees, thankfully someone took him out of your arms before you could completely fall to the ground.

You hadn't realized that the station was farther than you thought and it really took out the last of the energy you had.

You were about to blackout but not before you heard "Every last H.U.C member on the field has been rescued from impending danger. Therefore I declare this test is over!"

You slowly woke up and squinted your eyes to the bright light. You turned to look next to you and there was your uncle with a big grin on his face even though he was in his skinny form.

"There's my semi-pro hero." He said with a chuckle and wiped away a stray tear.

"Huh? What happened?" You asked looking around, seeing it was a nurses room.

"After you passed out they announced the people who passed and their scores and you made it with flying colors!" He seemed so happy and proud of you. You slowly sat up and took it all in.

"I...passed?" You repeated in amazement.

"Yes!" You could feel a smile forming and you let out a short laugh.

"I passed!" It was a great day and All Might told you that you were in the school's infirmary and that your friends were about to leave. "I've gotta go see them!" you pulled the covers up and over you and made your way out but not before Your uncle called out to you making you come to a halt.

"You almost forgot." He handed you your semi-pro hero license and you looked at it in aw, it was so shiny and new!

"Thanks, uncle Toshinori!" You gave him a quick hug and rushed to the school entrance.

"Guys!" You called out and ran over to them and gave Ochaco a hug first. "I passed!" You cheered and then went for Izuku.

"That's great!" Izuku celebrated with you.

"Hey, wheres Shoto?" You asked looking around.

"Well he..." Izuku didn't want to tell you but Ochaco had other plans.

"He's gathering his things in the classroom! But Just so you know Y/n, Shoto didn't get to pass the exam..."

"Oh... Thanks for the heds up Ochaco, see you guys later!" You rushed up the saits but opted for teleporting to the classroom but he wasn't there. You walked out and you could see he was turning the corner and heading down.

"Hey! Shoto!" You could see him stop for a split second but then continued on his way.

Huh? I could have sworn he heard me...

You jogged over to him and tapped him on the shoulder to catch his attention.

"Hey Shoto-"

"Sorry Y/n, I'm a hurry to head home." And with that he walked away without another word. You stayed there dumbfounded.

Maybe he's just down because he didn't pass?

All of a sudden you were getting a video call from your mom. You answered quickly and you couldn't wait to tell her the good news.

"Hi honey!!!! Your uncle tells me you've got something to tell me???"

"I GOT MY LICENSE!" You shouted in pure joy.

"AHHHH! I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU! Your dad would be so proud of you sweetie." She said while wiping away her tears of joy, making you spill some too.

"Thanks mom, I'm gonna go back to the dorms now, I'll talk to you later." You blew a kiss for her and she also waved goodbye.

I'll just give Shoto some time. He should be back to his normal self soon, right?
