Chapter 20: The writing on the wall

You stretched your arms towards the sky as you exited schools grounds with Todoroki and Izuku.

"Some day huh?" You said casually.

"That's for sure." He rubbed his sore neck in response.

"I think Aizawa was extra hard on us this time." Izuku let out a sigh.

"Yeah, but at least we're all gonna hang out for a whole week at the training camp thing!" Todoroki could literally feel your excitement radiating off of you and responded with a chuckle. "And I think it's great that we're all going to the mall tomorrow." You added.

"Right." He answered simply. You walked in front of the two boys and then turned around so you would be walking backwards.

"So, what do you guys plan on getting at the mall?"

"I need some weights and things for training. What about you?" You didn't really think about it so it took you a while to respond.

"Maybe some sports clothes, I don't have that much of that." You shrugged. "How about you, Todo?"

"Just a few basic things, batteries and things like that." Todoroki kept looking at the ground, as if he was thinking about something important and didn't really participate much in the conversation.

"Hey, Todo? You okay?" You asked just in case, he looked up at you for a moment but then looked back down.

"Yeah, I'm just a bit tired from class today, that's all." You didn't want to pry so you continued on with the conversation with Izuku.

Once you three reached the intersection, you said your goodbyes and Todoroki went right along with Izuku since the bus stop was that way.

As you walked into the apartment you went straight into your room and flopped down on your bed.

I hope tomorrow I get to talk to him a bit more.

Kiyashi Ward shopping mall. One of the biggest malls there is.

You were in awe seeing how huge it was and how many things there were. You've never really gone to the malls there since the times you would visit Japan were mostly to hand out with your uncle but now... You didn't even know where to start!

You turned to look at Izuku but he was just muttering a bunch of facts about the mall.

"Hey Izuku, you're scaring the children. Stop that." Commented Fumikage, you sweat dropped and shook him slightly so he could come back down to earth.

"Oh! Aren't those U.A students?!" You suddenly heard a stranger shout.

"First Year?!"

"I saw them on T.V!" You heard the comments coming from a bunch of different people. You felt proud when they would cheer them on yet a bit sad at the fact that you couldn't join their 'fame.'

"Everyone has different things they want to do, so why don't we meet up at 3 O'clock?" Mina said to everyone, you didn't even notice that they were coordinating.

"Okay!" Everyone shouted, you looked around for Todoroki but he was gone, along with everyone else.

"Everyone's really fast." Izuku chimed.

"Yeah." So in the end it was just you Izuku and Ochaco.

"What about you Uraraka?" Izuku asked.

"I need bug spray." She said casually but all of a sudden her face was turning red.

"Ochaco are you okay?" You asked worried if she was feeling okay.

"Bug.... BUG SPRAY!" She shouted and then ran away.
