Chapter 7: Billboard blues

Robby Keene, the son of Johnny Lawrence, was a theif. And currently he was dressed as an employee of the tech sales and tech repair store, TechTown. A man had just walked in and asked 'Edwardo' (Robby) to fix his laptop and after he left to Starbucks to let 'Edwardo' do his job. Instead, Robby walked out of the store to meet up with his friends.
"Yo Robby, what did we get?" asked one of Robby's friends.
"A 15 incher." Robby replied, referring to the laptop.
"Nice!" said Robby's other friend. Robby took off the Techtown shirt and passed it to the real Edwardo.
"Thanks, Eddie. We'll get you your cut." Robby told Edwardo. Robby then turned to his friends as he pulled his normal shirt down (he wore it under the Techtown shirt).
"I got three guys right now willing to pay $400, no questions asked." Robby told his two friends.
"Aw man. Dude have them each venmo half and then give it to who shows up first." replied Trey. Trey was one of Robby's friends, he was Africaj American, and the one the likely pulled Robby into this life of crime to begin with.
"What about the other two?" Robby asked curiously.
"Sucks for them." Cruz, Robby's other friend responded.
"Come on." Trey said as he and Cruz got on their skateboard and started to skate away. Robby closed the laptop and got on his skateboard so he could skate after them when he noticed something on the floor that made hin stop. Robby got off his skateboard and started walking toward a yellow paper on the floor. Robby picked it up. It was a Cobra Kai flyer that Johnny had been putting up all over the city. Trey chuckled.
"What, you looking to take karate?" Trey asked in amusemenr.
"No. It's my f-ing dad." Robby replied in annoyance before he dropped the flyer onto the ground again.
"Come on. Let's get out of here." Robby said.

Samuel and Ramon were still in shock about what had happened. They saw Johnny carry Miguel back to his car, beaten.
"What the..." Samuel said.
"What happened?" Ramon asked in shock before Johnny disappeared, taking Miguel home.
"I should have stuck by him. I shouldn't have thought that Demetri and Eli would stay by him." Ramon started to say before Samuel put a hand on his best friend's shoulder.
"You didn't know this would happen. Don't blame yourself. Blame the people responsible for this." Samuel suggested. Samantha noticed Kyler looking at them with a devious smile on his face, a smile that became a look of terror as Samuel and Ramon both noticed and started walking to him.
"Hey, did you have something to do with Miguel getting hurt?" Ramon asked. Kyler looked nervous.
"No." Kyler said quickly. Samuel growled.
"If we find out that you just lied to us, nothing will keep you safe from me." Samuel warned Kyler, who ran away with his friends.
"I'm sure it was him who beat up Miguel." Ramon said. Samuel nodded. He had no doubt in his mind that this had been the work of Kyler and his cronies.

After Johnny took Miguel home, Miguel's mom told him never to see Miguel again. Afterward Johnny bought beer and got himself drunk to deal with his depression. Miguel had become important to him, how had he messed up so bad? Then, as if the world were making fun of him, a giant LaRusso Auto Group billboard was well lit in the street he was walking in. Johnny groaned. He was tired of seeing Daniel LaRusso everywhere. Daniel was on tv commercials, radio ads, billboards, and Johnny learned from Ramon that the man even had his own Karate dojo, Miyagi-Do Karate! Johnny hated how he was still living under Daniel's shadow.
"What are you smiling at?" the drunken Johnny asked Daniel on the billboard. Johnny then noticed a guy spray painting a wall and he walked over to him.
"Hey man, wanna trade cans?" Johnny asked the spray painter as he offered up his beer.

The next day:
Samuel's phone kept buzzing as Samuel changed for school. Samuel picked up his phone and decided to check what the big deal was. Social media was blowing up his phone!
