Splatoon: 38 The Child of Agent 3 & Agent 8

Chapter 3

~38's pov~
Some how, I woke up on the floor...but I wasn't home. I got up and saw a figure coming closer to me.
"W-Who are you!" I shouted at the figure moving closer to me.
"Well....well....well....if it isn't the mistake to the Octorains." She walked out of the dark to reveal an elite Octorain.

"I-I'm not a mistake! I resemble the peace between inklings and octolings!" I explained to her.
"No, you don't.....us octoling hate you! You were a mistake to us! You'll never be accepted to the Octorain army!" She declared.
"And why would I want to join you?!" I almost laughed at her.
"Because of me...." another octoling came out of the black and it was my......father?!

"W-What!? B-But father! You can't go back to the Octorain army! Y-Your Agent 8!" I was confused and shocked why my father chose his old life and threw out his new life.
   "I can make a choice, be in Inkopolis Square and have a mistake like you or live in the Octorain army were I am accepted most." He turned to me with a mean look. I felt hurt by his words....my own father was calling me a mistake?

  "This must be a dream!!" I shouted as tears rolled down my cheeks.
  "Oh...it's about to get real." The female octoling smirked pointing her Octo shot at me. I closed my eyes and felt so much pain. But.........I woke up.

I woke up.....on the street? I start to get up but then suddenly pushed back to the ground.
  "Tck, this disgrace thinks she can get up without permission!" I heard an inkling voice. I looked at the inkling and noticed it was Leo!? Why does it have to be everyone I know!
  "Leo...stop playing these games, I'm your best friend!" I reassured him and started to fake laugh.
   "Shut up!! It was a mistake to be your friend!" He grew rage as I was already hurt from what happened the last dream....I think.

"Why can't we live in peace!? Why can't we just all get along!!" I began to cry again. I felt hurt......I felt like I didn't belong here. I...... I was then cut off by other inklings surrounding me, I was so confused. Why did they want to hurt me? Why don't they want to make peace?
"This is we're the world ends for you." Leo smirked at me and I screamed in fear.

I woke up screaming.....then......started to cry. I couldn't believe it was just all a Dream....not even a dream.....but a nightmare. I started cry my eyes out, I felt betrayal, pain, scared. I heard my door open and it was my father.
"I heard screaming, are you ok?" My father asked me, and sat on the end holding my cheek as tears fell down.
"N-No.....I'm not." I shivered with my tears rushing down my face.
"Do you mind telling me what happened?" My father asked again.

I shaked my head yes and just curled into a ball.
"I-It started w-with an octoling a-and she told me that I was n-never going to be a-accepted in the O-Octorain army, t-then I asked h-her why I would w-want to join them.....b-b-.......but you came!! And you were joining them! Y-You called m-me a m-mi-mi...." I bursted into tears, I couldn't finish it. I then felt warm arms around me and my father was hugging me.

"You know I would never do that to you, or join the Octorain army." My father reassured me. I hugged him back and I whipped my tears away.
"Hey, to make you happy what do you wanna do tomorrow?" He asked me.
"I-I guess invite your friends and L-Leo?" I whipped the rest of my tears, and smiled.
"That's a great idea, now why don't you continue resting. Tomorrow is going to be a fun day." He kissed my head and closed my door.

I think it was the drink I had at the party.

~Lance's (Agent 8) pov~
As I closed 38's door I felt a bit worried for her. She thought I would say she was a mistake and that I would join the Octorain army?! But it's not her fault.....I'm just worried for my daughter. I don't want anything happening to my baby girl. I entered into are room and Cora was on her phone waiting for me.
"Is everything alright?" She asked.

"Well, she just had a nightmare and she told me all about it." I answered. Cora looked at me with a slight frown.
"Do you mind telling me about it?" She looked at me with a bigger frown.
"Alright grumpy Princess~" I teased her and sat up on the bed.
"H-Hey!!" She started to get all flustered. I just laughed and kissed her, and as I did she immediately melted into it. I broke it apart and just smiled at her.

"Gosh...I cant believe we made it this far. And I'm even more surprised I fell in love." Cora giggled and snuggled into the bed.
"That's lovers! Maybe you inklings say?" I guessed.
"Lance you dork." Cora giggles more and moved closer to me, then resting her head on my chest.
"Good night Cora..."

Ok sorry it took me way longer then expected, well it's because I finally made a plot for this story but my Agent 3 X Agent 8 one was easy because I had it all planned out. So I hoped you enjoyed it. And I added a bit of Agent 3 X Agent 8 UwU and also I was on a field trip to Busch Gardens and my favorite it Cobra's Cruse even though I almost died QwQ and I had no data to go on here so yyeeeaaahhh.
