002 | one stepfather & an evil sister

The siblings all landed in a beautiful green meadow with an amazing view

Carmen helped Loki off the ground as Thor turned his head

The three noticed Odin standing before them, looking off into the horizon as they walked over to him

"Father?" Thor asked the eye patch man

"Look at this place. It's beautiful"

"Father, it's us"

"My sons" Odin said and turned to Carmen

"Little one. I've been waiting for you"

"We're here to take you home. To Asgard" Carmen told him

"Home, yes. Your mother, she calls me. Do you hear it?" Odin asked the girl

"M-My mom?"

"Loki, lift your magic" Thor demanded as Loki shook his head , signalling it was no longer his spell at work

"Took me quite a while to break free from your spell. Frigga would have been proud" Odin told Loki

"Proud to see her children here together. She wanted nothing but the best for you, Antheia" Odin told Carmen

"Come and sit with me. I don't have much time" Odin said as they all did as they were told

"I know we failed you, but we can make this right" Thor told Odin

"I failed you. It is upon us. Ragnarok" Odin said as Carmen shook her head

"No, Thor stopped Ragnarok. He killed Surtur" Carmen told him

"No. It has already begun. She's coming. My life was all that held her back, but my time has come" Odin explained

"I cannot keep her away any longer"

"We're confused, who are you talking about?" Carmen asked

"Goddess of Death. Hela. My firstborn. Your sister" Odin told

"Y-Your what?" Thor asked in complete confusion

"This can't be. We only have the one sister, and that's Antheia" Loki protested

"Her violent appetites grew beyond my control. I couldn't stop her, so I imprisoned her. Locked her away"

"She draws her strength from Asgard, and once she gets there, her powers will be limitless"

"Whatever she is, we can stop her together. We can face her together—" Thor started

"No, we won't. I'm on a different path now. This you must face alone" Odin told Thor as he was in shock

"I love you, my sons. My little one"

"Look at that. Home" Odin pointed out to the horizon

Just like that, Odin had disintegrated into shining dust as it brushed past Carmen's fingers

The three stood there in silence as they were all almost about to burst into tears

Carmen was angry , she had so many questions , so much she wanted to talk with him about

And she missed her chance

It started to get darker as thunder started to boom

"Brother" Loki called out for Thor as his fists were clenched in sadness and anger , lighting sparking throughout his body

Thor looked up as Loki with a deadly glare

"This was your doing" Thor sneered at Loki

A green flash then came from the sky as the three siblings walked closer

Loki changed into his combat outfit along with Thor who did the same with his thunder

Carmen pressed a button on her bracelet that initiated her suit to enclose her body

An incredibly beautiful woman came from the green cloud as it disappeared behind her

"So, he's gone. That's a shame. I would've liked to have seen that" The woman said

"You must be Hela. I am Thor, son of Odin" Thor introduced himself

"Really? You don't look like him"

"Perhaps we can come to an arrangement" Loki spoke up

"You sound like him"

"How bout we relax the fire. This doesn't gotta end in a rage" Carmen said to the woman

"Oh , I remember how happy I was when I found out you were born. All I wanted was a sister" Hela said and smirked

"Kneel"

"Beg your pardon?" Loki asked in disbelief

"Bro, she stole your line" Carmen whispered to Loki

"Kneel" Hela pulled a sword out

"Before your queen"

"I don't think so"

Thor threw his hammer at Hela but to everyone's shock

She caught it with one hand

Thor tried to summon it back but it wasn't working

"It's not possible" Carmen breathed out

"Antheia, you have no idea what's possible" Hela told Carmen as she squeezed her grip on the hammer , causing it to break

A big explosion of lightning passed as the remains of the hammer dropped to the floor

Hela pulled her hair back as a headpiece appeared along with another sword

Carmen quickly made her way over to the remains of the hammer and grabbed a piece

"Bring us back!" Loki yelled out

"Loki, no!" Carmen yelled as her and Thor tried to go for Hela but the portal was too quick

They were in the wormhole to bring them up to Asgard with Hela hot on their tail

"Loki!" Thor called out to his brother as Loki threw a dagger at Hela

Hela caught the dagger and threw it back , causing Loki to fall out of the portal

"Loki!" Carmen yelled out

Hela held Thor's head through the portal and took out her sword

Carmen used her laser to blast the woman's leg causing her to let go of Thor

Thor then flew into Carmen , sending them both flying out of the portal
