~Next day~

It has been a whole day without a word from Emmett, and I am starting to get worried. I mean usually Emmett would call by now, and our mate bond is starting to hurt me.

If you are a mate to a Faey, you have to be near him/her or their chest will start to hurt. That is another reason why Faey never keep their relationships, they say we are too clingy. But we are not!

As I was in my mind, I get startled by a hand on my shoulder. I turn my head quickly to look at the person, I sigh in relief.

"Damien! For the love of Faey, Don't do that!" I tell him sternly. He gives me a small smile, then he drops his hand.

"Are you doing okay, Vale? You look pale." He asked. I shake my head no.

"I feel fine Damien, my chest hurts but that is it." I reply to him.

Damien showed up this morning wanting to check up on Anna and me. Once he showed up, he knew something was wrong with me. He told me that my skin is pale, my eyes turned into a dull purple.

That means the mate bond has been pulled to its extend. I just hope Emmett comes back, my whole body is craving him very badly.

I look out the window, as rain falls down from the sky. Light gray clouds covers the whole sky not letting the sun show itself. That puts a damper on my already sour mood.

I hold back any snappyness, I have. I don't want to scare Anna and Damien. 

Soon I hear Anna yell, "Mommy!" I quickly look over at her, I smile at her excitement that is coming off of her in waves.

"Yes, baby girl?"

"Damien said he found his mate!" She tells me.

I look over at Damien with a brow raised and a smirk on my lips. Damien looks down and his cheeks turns into a rosy red color. I start to laugh at Damien.

"Congrats Damien, What is her name?"

"Her name is....uh.....um....Kelly. Kelly Smith." He tells me.

I smile at him, "Where does she live?"

"She lives in Port Angeles, and she is 18 years old." He says smiling.

"Does she know?" I asked him.

He looks over at me, "Does she know what?" He asked me.

"Does she know what you are?" I tell him.

Damien looks up at me, and shakes his head no.

"Damien, if you are a hundred percent sure that she is your mate. You can tell her, you just have to call the Faey Elders before hand."

"I know but there are many doubts running through my mind. Like, What if she finds out and hates me for it? What If I tell her but she thinks I'm a freak? You know, I just don't want to be made fun of again." Damien tells me while he raises his legs and puts his head on them.

"Damien," I move to sit next to him. "I understand your doubts, but you shouldn't worry. If she is your mate, she will love you even if you are the ugliest person in the world."

Damien looks up at me, and we both start laughing. A few minutes later, we are panting from laughing so hard.

"Thanks Valerie, I needed that. You know what, I am going to tell her right now. I will see you later, Valerie." He says before he gives me a kiss on the cheek.
"Don't worry, Emmett will be here soon. I promise."

I smile at Damien and I give him a hug.
"Thanks, now go before you get second thoughts."

He gives me his famous smirk, "I never get second thoughts." Then he disappears in a cloud of smoke.

"I never get second thoughts my ass." I say under my breath. I sigh letting my anger go.

"Mommy?" I look up to look at Anna.

"Yes, sweetheart?"

"Are you okay? Your eyes turned black." She tells me. My eyes widen, that is not good.

"Yes, Sweetie. I am okay, I am just not feeling well." As soon as I said that. I quickly run to the bathroom.

~Anna POV~

Mommy looks really sick, I bet it is her mate bond. I have to call Emmett, he needs to be here.

I see Momma's phone on my legs, I quickly grab it and I head into her contacts.

Once I see the contact for Emmett, I press the call button.

It starts to ring;

Ring

Ring

Ring

Ring,

"Hello?" It is Emmett that picked up.

"Emmett!"

"Hey Anna! How are you sweetie? I am almost to the hospital to see you."

"Really! I can't wait to see you, but you should hurry Momma's not feeling good."

"I am going as fast as I can. Anna, what can you tell what she is experiencing?" He asked worried.

"Her skin is pale, her eyes are a dull purple but they turned black. Now she is throwing up. Please Emmett hurry!"

"I am a few miles away, Auntie Alice should be there before me."

"Okay, I love you Daddy."

"I love you too Sweetheart."

I end the call, and I put Momma's phone on the nightstand by the bed. Auntie Alice enters the room with Uncle Jasper.

I get a huge smile on my face, "Auntie Alice!"

She smiles and giggles, Uncle Jasper smiles. While Aunt Alice goes to sees Momma, Uncle Jasper cuddles up to me and tells me stories.

I hope Momma gets better.

~Valerie POV~

After fifteen minutes of straight throwing up, I hear high heels walking into the bathroom. Then I feel cold hands gently pulling my hair into a ponytail.

"Are you alright Valerie?" I hear Alice asked.

I shake my head, "No, the Faey bond got expended too much. My body is going through the symptoms of the bond."

Next my chest shoots out sharp pains, I cry out in pain. "Dear God, I need Emmett! Now!!"

Alice rubs my back soothing, but it does not stop the pain I am feeling.

"He is almost here Valerie, I promise-"

"Valerie!" Emmett....it's Emmett!

'Thank you Lord, for bringing Emmett to me.' I thought before blacking out from the pain.

***Hey guys sorry this chapter was late. I had no motivation to write, and I went to the yearly Anime Convention and I had a blast. I swear I will update more often, and I will be making a second book after a very important chapter for Valerie and Emmett.***
