F.R.I.E.N.D.S:- A Fanfic

Chapter One

(I started working on this fanfiction in Dec 2015. When I first came up with the idea and started planning it out in my mind, I knew I had to write the first chapter which reminds the reader the pilot episode and this was the result. My friends loved it so I never thought of making any changes in this chapter. I really want fans/readers to read this chapter and the chapters to come.)

THE ONE WITH JOEY'S SON

SCENE ONE

Fade in:

Int. Central Perk;

A hot, sunny afternoon. Erica, Jack and Sophie are hanging out. Emma enters.

Emma- (walking over to the couch) Guys, I broke up with Aaron.

Jack - You were dating Mr. Weird Nose? Since when?

Emma- For the last two weeks. I thoughts you guys knew.

Erica+Sophie- We did.

Erica - (To Emma) Why did you break up with him?

Emma- Well, yesterday we went on our second date and I was wearing this very beautiful and expensive dress and he told me his Mommy says that I don't have a good fashion sense.

Emma(cont'd)- Anyway, it was like I'm gonna kill myself or kill him.

Erica- So, wait a minute. If you're not seeing Aaron anymore, what's tonight?

Emma- A date.

Jack- You moved on a little too fast.

Sophie- Tell us about your date.

Emma- There's nothing to tell. He's just a guy I've worked with.

Sophie- Is he hot?

Emma- Yes, he is. He is. (Giggles)

Jack- (munching his cookie) He eats cookies?

Emma- (to Jack) What? (Pause) Well, I don't know.

Dissolve to:

Int. The same, a little later;

Cups and dishes litter the table. Jack is talking on the phone. He hangs up the phone.

Jack- Evelyn is moving to Florida.

Sophie- (groans) Why? She was our only friend in the whole class.

In the midst of this, Ben enters. He is totally despondent. He moves to the others and sits.

Ben- (a voice from the abyss) Hi!

Erica- This guy says hello, I wanna kill myself.

Emma- (to Ben) You okay, Ben?

Ben- I feel like someone reached down my throat, grabbed my small intestine, pulled it out of my mouth and tied it around my neck.

Jack- (offering) Cookie?

Ben- (explaining) Candice is missing.

Erica+Sophie- What?

Emma- You tried calling her?

Ben- I tried everything. Calling her, going to the places where she might go to but in vain.

Ben(cont'd)- I went to her place and I met Aaron there. He told me that he saw Candice with a guy in the same restaurant you guys went for your date. He saw them after you threw wine on him and left. (To Emma) Guess you broke up with him.

Sophie goes to Ben and waves her hands wildly very close to his head.

Ben- (ducking) What are you doing?
