Chapter Two

THE ONE WHERE THEY REUNITE

SCENE ONE

Fade in:

Int. Emma's apartment;

Early morning. Rachel is in the kitchen. Jerry is working out in the balcony.

Rachel- (going over) Jerry, here's your milkshake.

Jerry- Thank you, Rachel.

Rachel- You look worried.

Jerry- (takes a sip from the glass) Because I am.

Dissolve to:

Int. The suburbs, Monica and Chandler's house;

Monica is in the kitchen.

Monica- Honey, breakfast's ready.

Chandler enters. He sits on the chair.

Chandler- So when are we going to pick them up, Jack and Erica?

Monica (while serving) - Well, how about we pick them up in the evening. We can leave tomorrow morning. The wedding's anyway tomorrow afternoon.

Chandler- Sounds good to me.

Cut to:

SCENE TWO

Int. Emma's apartment, in the afternoon;

Ross and Rachel are watching a show on TV. There's a buzz. Rachel gets up to get it.

Rachel- Hey, Monica. Hi, Chandler.

Monica and Chandler enter. Monica hugs Rachel. Chandler goes over to the sofa and hugs Ross and sits.

Rachel brings juice for them and sits on the armchair next to Monica.

Monica- Where are the kids? (Takes the glass from Rachel's hand)

Rachel- At the coffee house. (Long pause) Jack asked me to buy a present for Sophie.

Chandler- For Sophie? (Pause) is he like falling for her?

Monica- No, no. He's already in love with, uh, with her mother's homemade cookies.

Ross- Yeah. That he is.

Rachel- No, I agree with Chandler. The way he was looking for a dress for her and he even remembered what's her favorite colour. I do think he's in love with Sophie.

Phoebe enters.

Phoebe- Hey everyone.

Rachel- Hey Pheebs.

Phoebe- I saw the kids at the coffee house. And they reminded me of us.

Others- Wow, that's great.

Phoebe- The thing that is bugging me is that I saw a guy with Erica. Holding her hands in his. (To Monica) Is Erica dating anyone?

Rachel- That must be Joey's son, Jerry.

Chandler- Jerry? The mouse?

Monica- (Worried) And he was holding my daughter's hands.

Ross- No need to freak out. Jerry will be leaving soon for LA. So he's just spending some time with the kids.

Dissolve to:

Int. Central perk, at the same time;

Sophie, Emma, Jerry and Erica are sitting on the couch. Jack is sitting on a chair next to Sophie. Ben joins them, after a while.
