Percy's POV
Drew comes storming up to me and violently starts to kiss me. I push her off and say, "Stop! Drew! What's wrong with you?"

Drew starts to tears up. "I thought you loved me. I just wanted to get back together with you." I roll my eyes.

"You broke up with me, after you cheated on me! Not the other way around!" I yell. Some people have started to gather around, but I don't care.

"I did the wrong thing! Give me a second chance," Drew says.

"No second chances this time."

Drew scoffs. "This is about that Annabeth girl, isn't it? You don't love me because of that slut?"

"This has nothing to do with Annabeth! You cheated on on me! How is is that Annabeth's fault?" I cross my arms.

"None of this happened until she showed up! How is it not her fault?"

"It your fault! You cheated on me!" Drew pouts. Then, she turns on her heel and walks out of school. Why does she always skip? She not going to graduate.

I look at the crowd, which is now conspired of almost the entire school body (including Annabeth). I see her. She has a little smile on her face. She nods in my direction and walks away.

I smile to my self. Then, hell breaks loose. Girls begging me to go out with them and boys getting upset because some of those girl their dating, or something.

I really don't care. Annabeth smiled at me. She doesn't hate me. What more could I ask for?

Time Skip to Lunch

"Dude, you should invite Annabeth to sit with us," Jason says.

"No! I mean, not unless you invite Piper," I say, turning the conversation back on him.

"Ugg! Y'all are so annoying! Just invite the whole group of hot girls! You like them and wish they were sitting with us, so just do it!" Leo says, way to loudly in my opinion. And when he said Annabeth was hot I got a twinge of jealousy.

"Fine," Frank says, which surprises us all.

"What?"

"Leo's right. A sentence I never thought I would say, but it's true. I like Hazel, Jason likes Piper, and Percy likes Annabeth. What's the damage if we ask them over?" We all agree.

When the girls come out side Jason, Frank, and I get up to ask them over.

"He-Hey Hazel," Frank says, with a little wave.

"Hi," Hazel says blushing.

"Hi, boys. Do you need something or are we in your way. If so, I formally apologize, your highnesses," Annabeth says, sarcastically bowing.

"Actually, we were wondering if you would like to sit with us?" Jason says, getting quieter as he went on.

Piper gives a small smile, "Yeah." Annabeth shoots a glare to Piper. "Why not?"

"I can think of 11 right now. Oh wait, one more, that's 12." Annabeth crosses her arms, glaring at Piper.

"Yeah, right. I bet you don't even have one," Piper challenges.

"Let's see... one, Drew would have my head. Two, all the other girls would have our heads. Three, I don't like them. Four—"

"All right, you made your point. Besides, I'm sure Percy wouldn't let Drew kill you." Piper smirks.

"Oh, yeah. Why is that?"

"Well, he-"

I interrupt, "Well, it's your decision. You don't have to come."

"I never said I wasn't coming. I just said there were reasons not to. Now that I'm thinking of it, there are 14 reasons, but I'll still sit with you," Annabeth states.

"Yeah, let's go," Hazel says. She keeps glancing at Frank, who is doing the same to her.

"You've been abnormally quiet, Hazel. What's up?" Piper asks.

"Nothing. I'm fine." Hazel looks at Frank, then the ground, blushing. Ooh! Does she have a crush? Annabeth and Piper must be thinking the same as me, 'cause they were before smirking to each other.

"Okay. Now, why are we just standing here? Let's go, I'm starved," Piper says, walking over to where Leo is sitting. Annabeth and Hazel follow her. Then we follow, too.

Annabeth's POV
"Okay, so why are we sitting here?" I asks, crossing my arms, as we sit down. Percy siting next to me.

From above it would look like this:

                        Annabeth         Percy
          Hazel
                      LUNCH TABLE         Leo
          Frank
                            Piper            Jason

"Oh. Did they not tell you? Your sitting here because they have a—" Leo is interrupted by Percy and Jason putting their hands over his mouth, as well as Frank throwing something at him. I wonder what Leo was going to say.

"Okay... well..." Piper says wondering what to y'all about to.

"So... umm... are any of you going to try out for the musical?" Jason asks, trying to start a conversation. I think it works, too.

"No. Nope. Not in a million years," I answer.

"But Annabeth, your a good singer," Pipers says.

"How would you know? You've never heard me sing."

"Well... funny story..."

"We heard you singing one day, so Piper looked you up. You are an amazing singer," Hazel answers in a rush. Piper glares at her.

"Well... that was a long time ago. I can't sing anymore," I answer, simply. Okay, so it's not a the whole truth, but that means it's not a whole lie, right?

"Come on, Annabeth. One, it was freshman year. Not that long ago. Plus, talent like that doesn't just go away," Piper says.

Okay, this conversation went from a very stupid and annoying, too bringing back some pretty bad memories.

There is only one way to get them off my back. "What musical are they even putting on?" I ask.

"Newsies," Percy answers.

"Okay, even if I'm amazing, there are, like, two girl rolls. I'm not that good." Finally, an actual reason not to do this.

"Come on, Annabeth." That's really has become Piper's favorite thing to say. "Just try. If you don't think you'll make it, then you've got nothing to worry about, but if you do we will all be there with you."

"Okay, I'll do it." That all cheer. I don't know why, though, I don't know most of them. "Are any of y'all auditioning?"

"I'm trying for Crutchie,Jason's going for Dave, and Percy is going to get Jack. Frank is the stage manager," Leo says, very matter of factly.

"Cool. I'll try out. What about you, Hazel?" Piper turns the attention off of me and on to Hazel. Thank the Lord for Piper.

"No. I'm helping backstage, too. Sorry," Hazel answers.

"Okay, so when are the auditions?" I ask.

"Tomorrow, after school," Frank tells me.

"See you there." Right when I say that the bell rings.

A/N
Okay, so I know there doing a lot at school, but in school I do a lot of things, too. I don't know one person who isn't in a club and/or sport. People are in so much at my school, I thought it would be more realistic that they do a lot too. Which means sucky school dances, musicals, group projects, and, of course, dating. It the full (annoying) high school experience.

Lots of love!
Kate. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

P.S.
There is a drunk emoji! I had no idea! Now it's my favorite! 🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴
