When Triston left all hell broke loose.
"So your the new slut he's dating." The woman grimaced, almost spitting out the bile that apparently crawled up her throat.
"Excuse me. I'm not a slut, and so what if I'm dating him." I said, crossing my arms over my chest.
"I know his mom, and I'm pretty sure she won't approve of someone like you." She said, looking me over again. Okay. What is with her and looking at people all over repeatedly.
"And who do you think is perfect for him." I asked.
"Well, my daughter of course, she graduated top of her class of the University of Oregon, unlike you, you probably didn't even go to college." She retorted, smirking. Uh! Typical mothers.
"Actually I did. In Columbia University, you know the one in NYC. Also I graduated Summa Cum Laude." I said smiling sweetly. She stared shock. Do I look stupid or something.
She took out a bell from her pocket, and ringed it. A tall brunette came running in.
"You called madam." She said. The woman whispered in her ear pointing at me, then left me alone with the insanely tall brunette.
"Hi! I'm Tracy and I'll be your stylist for today." She smiled brightly, and this time I'm sure it's not forced.
"Mellana." I said, returning her smile.
"Cool name. So what's the occasion for you to be in a salon" she asked leading me in and letting me sit in one of the chairs turning it to make me face the mirror.
"I actually don't know. Triston said he'll be back probably when were done, but as I know we have a dinner party with his family." I answered.
"Okay, do you want to get your hair done first or nails." She asked.
"Probably hair. And you can do anything you want I'm sure it'll be amazing!" I answered, trusting her completely with my hair.
"Thanks for your faith in me, now how about we give some layers, and since your hairlines in the middle lets not add the bangs anymore. Then how about I give you some gold highlights, to give your vibrant hair a bit more shine." She said excitedly. I just smiled and nodded, pretty sure it was going to look amazing.

After a while she finally finished cutting my hair, then showed to me. It was actually really nice, I was going to leave it down tonight when I received a text.
Triston: Mel btw the dinner tonight's formal and I'll be coming to pick you up at home, also your dress is already hanged in your room. Someone will be helping you to get into it.
Mellana: Okay tnks!
"Um. Tracy is it okay if you fix my hair up into an updo, apparently the party's formal." I asked giving her my sweetest smile.
"Yeah sure. After I paint your nails." She answered.
She painted my nails clear with a long silver triangle on the middle. It was actually pretty elegant, then she started working on my hair again. She curled each strand carefully, then tied my hair into a chignon curling some hairs that fell on the sides of my hair, clipping some away while two thin strands were left.
"Oh my gosh, this looks amazing. Thank you Tracy." I said, smiling brightly.
"Your welcome, and someones waiting outside for you." Tracy answered.
