Chapter 10

Markos POV

We entered my office and I closed the door. Rachel was still crying. I have to calm her down. It is all because of me. I know that she still has feelings for me. I made her sit on the chair and knelt besides her. I was rubbing her hands so she could stop crying. I got up and picked up my phone and dialled cafeteria's number. I ordered a sandwich and coffee for her.

"Rachel please stop crying." I said.

"No I won't" she said.

"Rachel stop acting like an adamant child." I said getting pissed off. She was always countering me.

"Then tell me why have you changed?." She asked

I sighed heavily, this wasn't the right time to tell her. She would over react because I know her very well.

She was waiting for me to answer but what could I do?. Shit!

"Princess I haven't changed" I told her.

"No I don't think so! You have become cruel to everyone even towards me!" She said.

I was shocked! I was anything but cruel towards her. I maybe an ass to other people but for her. I can do anything for her. Goddamn it! She got me all wrong. This is all because of his brother and father. I wish I could kill them both!

"Princess I am not cruel towards you. I love you Rachel. I have loved you ever since I was a child" I said while holding her face in my hands.

Her eyes widened and she was shocked by this revelation.

"What did you say?" She asked weakly.

"I love you Rachel and I know that you love me too." I said.

She closed her eyes for a moment. Her grip on my hands tightened. She looked upto me. Her big innocent eyes staring into mine.

"Then why are you doing this Markos?" She asked.

I was confused. What do I tell her? Then someone knocked on my door. She jerked her hands away from mine. I didn't like that action.

"Come in" I barked angrily.

The cafeteria guy came in timidly and kept the food on the table. After he left I turned to Rachel and said "Princess please eat"

"No! I won't eat anything till you tell me why you did it."

Here she goes again being so stubborn! I want to punish her for her behaviour better yet spank her.

"No first you will eat and then I will tell you" I said in a tone that she got scared and looked upto me.

"Why do act like you care because it seems you don't!" She said with eyes on the floor.

"You know that's not the truth. Cara I love you. You are the only person whom I care for" I said while taking her hands in mine.

I got up and handed over the sandwich tray to her.

"Eat!" I said.

She started eating. When she was finished my phone started ringing. I picked up my phone and there was Jessica my dumb secretary on the other side.

"What is it Jessica?" I barked at her. I saw Rachel's eyes widening. I was guessing she didn't like the way I was talking to that bimbo.

"S-sir you have a meeting in 5 minutes. The clients are waiting in the boardroom." She was scared. I always liked that effect on people. It made me feel powerful. I smirked and said" Okay I will be there in 5." I hung up and looked over at Rachel

"Princess I have a meeting in 5 minutes. I will tell you the truth tonight at dinner. Be free!" I ordered her.

"Do you hear yourself Markos? Why are you so rude to Jess and everyone else. I can't believe you called her a dumb bimbo! Do you not have any respect for women?" She scolded me.

"So that's what you do in the cafeteria. Bitch about your boss! Huh!" I was getting angry now.

"You should apologise to her for making such nasty comments." She said.

Now my blood was boiling! How dare that bimbo talk shit about me. I am so gonna fire her.

"No I am not going to apologise to her. She made a mistake!" I said getting angry.

"What? Dropping files on the floor is not a big mistake Markos! You didn't have to call her dumb bimbo. You were so rude to her. Do you even realise that you made that poor girl cry." She said while shaking her head.

So the dumb bimbo told her everything. She is poisoning Rachel's mind. I will have to take care of that bitch.

"No I will not apologise to her. Now princess I have a meeting and I am gong to meet up with you after my meeting and then will go out for a dinner. I will answer all your questions." I said while getting up and holding her hand.

She was dissappointed but I had no choice.

She also got up and nodded her head. I felt my heart clenching seeing her like this.

"Princess please try and understand. I can never harm you. I love you! Don't judge me." I said.

She looked into my eyes. God! I so wanted to kiss her. Yes I will kiss her now. NO she will be scared and I don't want her to be scared of me. She was driving me insane. I finally gave her a kiss on her forehead. She closed her eyes. She was stressed out.

"See you later pretty baby" I said releasing her and turned towards he door heading out for my meeting.
