*Audrey's POV ( Point of View) *Today, age 16. Still in London.

Great. Today's the first day of school. All those jerks, the sluts, the ones who insulted us. They'll all be back. I texted Caleb this morning wondering if he was going to be at school today. I told him I hadn't missed him, even though I truly had.

I guess he was excited to hear me too, considering he responded 2 seconds right after I sent it.

"I haven't seen you in such a long time. I missed you over the summer. Haha you probably did miss me. Btw, I got you something from the states! It's so different compared to London. We need to talk."

Those memories. Will they all be gone today? Why does he need to talk to me? I'm freaking out right now!  He's been my best friend ever since we were six. Forget best friend. He was my biological brother.  He was the loud one, I was the quiet one. He would talk, I would listen. He would talk to other people for me, because I couldn't say anything to them. The only person I needed to talk to was him. That's how we worked. And that's how I think we'll ever be. Forever and always. Haha cliche. I know. But that's us.

I went downstairs, and ate cornflakes infront of the TV. Everyone else in my family had gone to work. My brother is still asleep, considering my mom will be back by seven to go drop him off to school.  It was still 6 AM, so I didn't need to rush.  All the sudden the door bell rings.  I realized that figuire from anywhere, and I bolted to the door.

"CALEB!" I yelled, to the top of my lungs. I swung the door open, and there he was. Taller, in Elmo Pj's, a sweatshirt, a bit tanned,  and the same brown, shaggy hair I missed so much. He opened his skinny arms, and I opened mine, and we just fell into embrace. He whispered to me, as he stroked my hair, "You're mine and forever and always."  I was just so happy he was here, so I just responded with " Me too." He locked those gorgeous blue eyes with mine. And we both stared in Awe, and just got lost in each others eyes.

I asked if he wanted some cornflakes, but he was already eating my bowl. So, I just got a spoon, and joined him. We watched Spongebob for most of the morning, as I sat on his lap, and he tried to  watch on a slant. I'd try to block his view, and then we'd just fall onto the floor. We laughed, and giggled like the inner child we had inside us.

We later then realized it was 6:30, so we got dressed. Luckily, he had some clothes in his trunk, so that he didn't have to wear those Elmo Pj's to school. I grabbed a sweatshirt, and pulled on some skinny jeans.  So we are really ferternal twins. He came out of the washroom, and I saw him wearing the same thing. We just stared at each other, then collapsed onto the floor, laughing like mad men. All the sudden, my brother comes down the stairs, and stares at us. He laughs too, and then grabs the cereal box, and starts eating from there. I leave my brother with the TV on, and me and Caleb walk out the door, with our bags, ready for the world, as we face it together.

We have small talk in his truck, holding each others pinkys like his promise,  and then Caleb goes dead serious.

" I have to tell you something" I go on like its nothing.

Then he starts on with " While I was in the States, I had a dream. You we're on the play ground, running, and I chased after you." Then I say " That's impossible, I'm way too slow. You'd catch up to me right away"  Caleb continues " Yeah, I know right. But then we got to a cliff.  And you ran right to the cliff. I was too tired, and in the next second, you were gone."  I wonder why he even brought this up. I just say " So why bring it up? " And then Caleb says " Just remember. I promise you, that if anything hurts you, I'll come running, or even flying just like superman to save you." I laugh and remember that same moment we had in school, 10 years ago.

The truck stops. We're here at school. We walk with pinkys entwined together, because I think he's afraid to let go. Then I drop to the ground, and hold his leg. I was too afraid to go to Year 12 of school.  He tries to drag me into the school, while I whine like crazy. Everyone stares, but he didn't care, and just kept walking, with one leg, trying to drag me with the other one. We see a teacher, and I immedietly stand up, and walk behind him, holding his waist. I don't want to move, but he still tries to drag me through the hallways. He finally gives in, and takes my hands to pick me up. I pound his back,  kicking and screaming, and finally he plops me to the ground.

We're here.  At school.  Again, everyone starts to point, laugh and stare, but Caleb would be right beside me, and we'd forget everyone was here. We'd laugh like crazy, and we talk for hours. We'd stay by each other no matter what. Our pinkys still entwine, keeping the promise he made.
