*Audrey's POV* (Point of View)

I had no choice. I had to finish this year, weather I liked it or not.

So it started at the hospital. I was strolling around, looking for food, and my parents show up. They lecture me on how I should be back at school, not wasting weeks, and weeks of being here. I never wanted to leave Caleb, but I had to. It's hard to let go, of something you might lose again. Why couldn't I just postpone this year.

So I go back to school. Its a Monday. And I'm scared. I've got no one to escort me, and its nerve-wracking without him. He was protection! Like the tallest guy I knew, that would protect me from harm. And like he said, it was a promise. My teeth chatter, each step I take towards the school.

And it starts. I'm pushed to the side by the mean girls. They walk in line, like in those movies and are walking like the wind is sexily blowing their hair away. Awe, hell no. They push me down to the locker, sharp, very sharp manicured nails dig into 3 layers of my skin.

"Where's Austin? How dare you take him away from us!"

"Huh?" What the heck? I didn't understand a word they were saying. Speaking of which. What ever happened to him?

"You do know, you filthy liar. You called him over. Where is he you slut."  They yell at me like I know something. But I honestly don't know what the hell they're talking about.

"I never called him over. I was at the hospital." I say, squinting my eyes, feeling the blood trickle to my finger tips.

" Where the bloody hell is he."  What are they talking about? There's too much blood and I think I may have been losing my eye sight.

" Ladies,  what are you doing?" It's a familiar voice that I couldn't bare to hear. The nails that clenched, are released. I fall to the bottom of the locker, eyes tired.

"Hi Austin! We were just looking for you. We tried asking Audrey where you were, but then you appeared!"

I was in a bloody pulp before he showed up. He takes my arm, pulls me up slowly, beneath his arms. He tells me to calm down, but I can't stand this anymore.

"Don't tell me what to do, just leave me the fuck alone."  I scream, eyes squinting at the crappy school light, even though they weren't that bright.

He just walks away from this crowd, me beneath him, crying but his arms aren't the ones I want to be in.
