"Hello Ceaser."
I smile warmly as I take a seat in the chair across from him,
"So, obviously, I want to win. Everyone wants to win, but the question is why, why do I want to win and why do I think I should?" I pause for a second, and push back a piece of my hair, "First of all, I want to win.. because well.. who wouldn't? I mean I'm not sure many would want to enter, but once you're in, all you want is to win."
I spoke honestly, hoping he couldn't tell how nervous I actually was, "But why I think I deserve to win, that, could take awhile for me to explain, so here goes nothing." I laughed lightly and looked across the audience, "I think that I deserve to win because, well.. I'm not a career tribute, or from anywhere special in general, well.. I'm not saying that district five isn't special." I laugh when I realize how off track I am, "I don't know any of the other tributes except for Eric, since he's from my district as well, but I'm not trained for this, I don't have many special abilities and I'm really not sure if I'm going to get very far, but I'm going try as hard as I can, harder than anyone has ever tried. I'm going to remember that I'm fighting for my life, and forget that I'm killing others just as innocent as I am now. But I'm going to try. And if I'm trying my best, then I definitely deserve it."
