He loves me? Yeah right...

Chapter 3

Wow! This guy really knows how to sing. I thought he would just come up on stage and scream his heart out. But again wow! Right now he was singing his second song of the night and it was awesome. It was a slow song, I was enjoying myself.

Wow! Did I just think that?

But come on! His singing deserved it, but his attitude I’m not sure. He probably thinks he can have whichever girl he wants on his feet begging for his attention.

He finished the song with a bow. And again all the girls started screaming ‘Jesse’ ‘Jesse’.

Well you get the picture.

I was looking at the girl standing in the front who was trying to come up to the stage by climbing on other people’s shoulder. The scene was hilarious. I was laughing hysterically looking at that. But the guards stopped her and took her out with them.

I didn’t notice someone standing beside me. I was laughing snorting loudly. I know it’s embarrassing but I can’t help it okay?

I looked to my right to see Jesse giving me an amused look. I probably looked like a dying pig snorting like that. I quickly sobered up.

“What’s so funny?” he asked amused.

Again I got that picture in my mind where that girl was literally standing on other people’s heads to get on stage and I ended up laughing but thank my lucky stars I didn’t snort like last time.

“Nothi..ng, it’s ..jus..t tha..t Oh Go..d no..thin..g” I said in between laughs.

Come on! Stop laughing your probably looking like a hyena having an asthma attack.

I sobered up quickly.

“Nothing, nothing’s funny, I just remembered a funny joke that’s all”. I said smiling.

“Alright!” he said smiling back.

His eyes were so pretty. I could stare at them forever.

I realized we were just standing there and staring at each other. So I looked down blushing slightly.

“You don’t work here do you? I didn’t see you when I came in” he asked politely.

“No actually I don’t work here, I came in place of my friend, and there was some kind of emergency so he was needed there” I said.

“Oh right then, I guess I’ll see you around, I have to go up for another song”, he said smiling at me.

I melted right there. God! His smile was just amazing.

I’m turning into one of his fan girls aren’t I?

“Okay”, I said shrugging.

I was hyperventilating inside actually.

He went aside to drink water or something and I used that time to calm my stupid heart down.

He came back on stage after two minutes and the shrieking started again.

This time he was singing a fast song and that was amazing as well. I was swaying to its beats.

“Hi again” he said smiling at me.

I had no idea what he was doing talking to me. Not that I minded but still. He could use that time talking to the girls who were ready to throw themselves on him.

His words not mine.

“Hi”

If Chelsea realizes that I was currently talking face to face with Jesse, she would just laugh at my face.

“-name?” Jesse asked something, I had just spaced out.

“Sorry what?” I asked furrowing my eyebrows.

“Your name? I asked your name” he said smiling.

“Oh it’s Aimee”

“Nice to meet you Aimee, I think you already know my name”, he said winking.

“Of course, you’re fan girls have been screaming it for the last hour, I would never forget your name even if I wanted to for the rest of my life”, I said jokingly.

“Yeah…” he said looking down and his smile fading.

“You sing pretty well”, I said trying to make the situation a little less awkward.

“Thanks”

“You’re welcome”

God! Why is this so awkward?

I would prefer being his fan girl for a few moments just to know what to talk to him.

“Hey Jesse! You need to get ready for your next performance”, somebody called Jesse over.

After taking a look at me “You can do all the flirting later”, the man said winking.

I blushed so hard! So hard!

“Yeah I’m coming”

“Okay, then bye for now”

I didn’t look up; I didn’t want Jesse to see me blushing this way.

“Yeah, bye”, I said still looking down.
