Moving Out and Moving Forward || Joeck

CHAPTER 4: YOU'LL HAVE TO GO THROUGH US FIRST

As me and Joe pushed the double doors it wasn't a pretty sight at all.

What we saw in front of us was Jack pinned to the brick wall by the two girls. " Whoa what's going on here?" Joe asked clearly in a state of drunkenness within him.  As we stood there watching what was going to happen next , both girls turned around and said at the very same time " we are going to kill him ". Chills ran down my spine from the words that they said, but on the other hand Jack looked  vulnerable more than before, I looked up to see that Jack had been looking towards me this whole time even when the girls are supposedly going to kill him.

" Don't hurt him , please " I cried. Both girls and including Joe looked at me.

" you really think they are going to let him go if you bloody beg" Joe spat , but I knew that he was only saying that because he's drunk. I looked at him , and back at the girls sighing I kind of knew that begging wasn't going to help but what else could I do.

" Mo darling , Joe is right you shouldn't of begged nor cry for that matter" Maddie explained.

"If you want Jacky back you have to go through us first " Molly suggested as Maddie did not continue with her sentence for some reason. I  was not going to let this go , Jack is my world and to watch him die like this was not on my list of things to do. Clearly counting down 3,2,1 I grabbed both of the girls arms and pulled as hard as I could to let them go of Jack. And it was a struggle with no help with Joe it took everything in my will power to free him.

" JACK , JACK !" I shouted reaching for his arm and hand , but it was no good. I was about to give up when a gun shot was heard, a body guard was standing with Joe , I  was shocked even though Joe was drunk it seemed that something clicked , I was thankful if he did get sober either way . As we all stood there waiting for both Molly and Maddie to let go of poor Jack, everything seem to go in slow motion and I swear I could of passed out at any moment. However , the body guard had put down the gun and told the girls to let go of the gentle man  - Jack. As they did what they were told , Jack's body slided down the brick wall " Mo...?" Jack whispered. I hold back for a moment and looked at Joe , who went ahead and sat down next to him instead. Both lads seem to laugh about how things could of  go badly if me and Joe weren't here to save his life once again.

But for the girl,  who knows where and when they are going to come back.

As me , Joe and Jack made our way out of the club,  I couldn't help but feel something or someone lurking around us. With Jack not put into danger no more , this time it could be me or Joe next.

And i wasn't ready for that moment what so ever.
