CHAPTER 2 - What On Earth!? / More than Friends?

I licked my lips  slowly closing the gap between me and Joe and before we knew it Zoe came in.

" WHAT ON EARTH?!" Zoe said in a angry manner as she walked in on us. Mine and Joe's facial expressions were in fact expressionless, to make things worse I wanted to laugh at Joe but it would of made things  so much more awkward than it already has been. Joe had moved away from me and stood up from the bed walking past me and Zoe like nothing even happened. My whole body frozen. " I..??" I began to say something  but nothing seemed to come out. Zoe just stood there waiting for an answer which she did not get. I also stood up and walked out of the room walking past her , she didn't even pull me back but simply whispered something underneath her breath which I do not catch thankfully. I felt tears began to fall down my face as I made my way down the stairs and through the kitchen. Was this a joke ? I thought now heading for the garden . I didn't even want to think about  what Zoe , Joe or even Alfie were thinking nor talking about behind my back.

At the bottom of the garden I  saw a tent so I decided to go and sit down inside. I saw that Alfie was walking towards me. "Hey" a soft voice coming from him. I didn't dare to look into his eye's. " I thought , I generally thought Zoe caught on and knew that I liked Joe from the moment he walked in" I quietly said. " she was shocked " Alfie replied   putting his arm around me. " And.. Joe?". I whispered  "Joe..?? Um..? Alfie said unsure on what to say  that's when Joe said " Is here " Joe's face popping up through the opening of the tent. I smiled wiping my tears away. Alfie rubbed my back before  getting  up and leaving  us giving a warm smile to Joe  as he exited the tent.

Joe sat down next to me  very closely leaving no gap between us. He ran his fingers through his long blonde hair and began to say " Zoe was shocked. I'm sorry ". Not saying anything , and without thinking i  took his hand in mine  for the first time." Don't be" was all I could say. Joe didn't break away but played with my long brown boxer style braids with his free hand . " Friends " Joe said looking at me.  I turned my head locking eyes with his and  nodded but felt a knot in my stomach, as I felt more tears beginning to fall. " Friends.. "  I weakly said back  knowing that I didn't want to be just friends. The words playing through my mind over and over and over again. "Great ! I just got Friend zoned great   nice one Joe " I thought. we both got out of the tent  linking  side by side this was an opportunity to push him playfully. my mind prayed that  the rest of the evening  couldn't go wrong. but pushing that aside , Joe grabbed me and lifted me up and over his shoulders carrying all the way back to the house. I guess being friends wasn't so bad after all or was it?

6:00 AM: 6:00 bloody AM was the time that i saw as I rolled over to see the clock "Ugh" I groaned as I sat up and got out of bed. I grabbed my bathrobe on the way out  of the bedroom leabibng me barefooted as I head downstairs quietly. I went into the kitchen, grabbing myself a glass from the cupboard to fill it up with  some water. Switching off the tap  I  went to sit down at the bar, again the words "Friends " just couldn't get out of my head. I really did like Joe a lot but getting rejected was hard.

I sat there for a good 20 minutes  my glass was now empty , I wanted to get up but was too lazy too as I was too in to deep looking at the view ahead of me. I sense  that  somebody was  behind me but didn't dare to  turn around. " Y our up early " phew it was only Joe. JOE ?! I silently screamed. why was he up so early?. I sat still and slowly turned around and gave him a small  smiled.  He came closer putting his arm around my shoulders feeling his top half of nothing but skin. " I couldn't sleep " I whispered leaning backwards into his abs, which wasn't awkward at all, right..??

Joe kissed the top of my head as he pulled away from me , he  sat down next to me  " friends " I said out loud. I turned to face him , from the expression I got,  it was sad but it was really hard to tell as he had  his face to the floor . " I don't want to be  just friends"  he whispered as he  lifted his head making eye contact with me. I began to get up but he stopped me with " more than friends?" A question ? A suggestion ? " are you asking me or telling me ?" I laughed. I sat back down whilst Joe got up for some reason. 

He licked his lips softly  not breaking eye contact with me,   I  as felt  my whole body go numb. I bit down on my bottom lip as Joe leaned in , our lips met. The kiss was soft not wet not rough just soft. It wasn't a snog just a peck. But from what and how Joe was acting he wanted more. I grabbed onto the band of Joe's boxers and then his hips to bring him closer. We didn't break once. Before we knew it , the peck became more. Joe pulled me  up by my arms   so I was now standing " Jump" he whispered into the kiss. I obliged jumping up so I had my legs wrapped around his waist. Joe placed me on to of the counter as  our lips was  still attached. As I was the only one who was wearing clothes, Joe's hands went down and tugged  on my bathrobe undoing the belt and swiftly removing my top  with one movement as he  pulled it over my head. I knew exactly where this was going. With no top on leaving me with only shorts on,  I broke the kiss " Joe I can't not yet. I'm sorry ". Joe looked down entwining around hands together. " it's fine" I knew what he wanted , i lifted his chin meeting his eyes with mine ,  I kissed him softly. This caused Joe to smile more. I jumped off the counter with the help of Joe as he told me to get back to bed but instead I  joined him in his own which was the spare bedroom.

 By morning , Joe  laid on his side and draped his left arm over my stomach. I watched him get something from the bedside table with his other  hand  " good morning !" " shit" I whispered as I realized that Joe had started the vlog. Joe smirked weirdly but continued to vlog. we eventually got out of bed instead of sleeping in again. The both of us did our normal routine t,his is when Joe decided to go back home, which was a shame as things were now getting serious so as i thought. 

We all as in me , Joe , Zoe and Alfie, gathered around the big counter in the kitchen for some brekkie . I decided to get some fruit and yogurt for breakfast, as I turned back around leaning against the counter Joe began to annouced  to the rest of us but more at me that " Look I need to go back to London. I don't stay here more than two nights, I'm sorry Moxie" He was looking into my eyes .  I was shocked , but more disappointed. " It's fine " I said licking my spoon. Within the next minute or so " Then come back with me to London" The whole room was now quiet. Joe Sugg wanted me to come back with him to London. My dream city. " wait what" I was clearly shocked as the spoon went further into my mouth. Joe seem assumed as he pulled out the spoon out of my mouth. I nodded at him causing him to smile and laugh. I  looked around for Zoe and Alfie's reaction but nothing , they seemed fine with it. Putting away the rest of my stuff that i used for making  breakfast , i quickly ran upstairs to  packed my stuff ready to go to London.

After packing my stuff  , the rest of them were still down stairs talking. I heard one of them say " she' still so young and you've only met here a day" I knew it was Zoe like the sister she was to me I knew she had a right to have a word with her brother about this. By the time I got into the kitchen again they all went quiet. " Ready Joe " I asked holding onto my bags tightly i looked at both Zoe and Alfie again as Joe swiftly walked behind me , I could feel tension in the air. 

Joe said his goodbyes  first heading for the car wasting no time at all.

"Be careful out there, and I'm sorry for the way we handle things when you first came here " Zoe explained hugging me tightly.

"Sorry too for kissing your brother" I laughed feeling the vibration from her chest instantly knowing she was laughing also. We let go , as I moved onto Alfie.

"Yeah be careful" Alfie mocked laughing at the same time. From the way he said it I knew what he meant. "yeah you too " I  said sarcastically  hugging him tightly.

We eventually let go of each other , as we all helped me packed my bags in the boot of the car. I got into the car bulking up. Rolling down the window to see them better , I quickly placed my hand behind Joe's neck and pulled him for a kiss. He kissed me back but soon let go smiling back at me.

Staring up the car we backed away from their drive through sand onto the main road of Brighton.

One beep for Zalfie and we were on our way.

"we're going to have so much fun " I hear Joe with a smirking on his face placing a hand on my thigh at the same time, which was strange at first but soon I also placed my hand on top of his.

I had no idea what Joe really meant but I trust him 100%

London we're coming for ya.
