Skylar's POV :
I jolt up from my bed, my alarm demanding me to wake up. My butler's voice rang through the alarm speaker. The alarm is basically a birthday gift from my beloveth butler, Martin. It's the alarm where you could record your voice as the wake up call.
I quickly showered myself and brushed my teeth. After putting myself some clothes on, I head out to my bedroom and press the intercom button leading to my butler.
"Good morning, what do you want for breakfast?" He said, his voice sounding jolly. What a morning person. "I'll have some pancakes." I grumbled and pressed the button to end.
I browse through instagram as I went downstairs through the lift, heading to the kitchen.
A plate of chocolate chip pancakes is served infront of me. It only takes several minutes for me to finish it.
"Morning Buzz."
"Morning dad."
I smiled back at him as he sits on the couch to read the newspaper, doing his usual routine.
"Have you prepared your books for school tomorrow?" My dad looked up from the newspaper. I shake my head. "I'll do it later," I whined. "Just don't forget." My dad reminded me and went back doing his thing.
I head upstairs, riding the stairs for a bit of workout, and throw myself on my bed. I rolled around a few times, not knowing what to do.
I grab my backpack and filled it with the subject books and other necessities. I also studied some of them to prepare myself. Thankfully, the way the school learn is similar to my old school.
Suddenly, my phone rang. I looked at the name which reads out Courtney, and quickly answered it. "Can't wait tomorrow, you're finally moving to my school!" She squeeled.
"Yeah, one school with my bestie." I squeeled as well. "I promise you, with your IQ as high as that, the studies would be easy for you."
"Yeah right," I said as I rolled my eyes.
"Oh gosh can't wait."
The phone call went along with only us squeeling on each other, thinking about what we can do in school together.
Courtney is my bestfriend since elementary. Believe it or not, she used to be in my school. She got scholars to move to Aurnalt Studies, which I'm enrolling, since high school started.
Don't get me wrong, I'm also friends with the others in my old school. But they weren't as close to me as Courtney.

"Dad, I'm off to go out. Bye! I'll come back before dinner." I waved as I went out with Clarice, my bodyguard.
My dad was kidnapped when he was a child considering that my grandfather is a successful businessman which is passed unto my dad.
Because of that, it is clear that I have to go with my bodyguard, only on the restricted zone around which is my complex.
I arrived with my bodyguard in the mall and went for a little tour. People stare at me with jealousy, knowing that I shop alone. At times like this, I would want a mom for her billion-worth advices.
I ended up buying a new snapback and a pair of Jordans for myself. I went back home for dinner with my dad, it's a thing that we do everyday.
I stare at the ceiling in my bedroom after finishing dinner, pondering about school tomorrow. Stars shown through my room from my ceiling which is glass. ( Cue the song : Sky full of stars - One Republic )
Before I knew it, I felt asleep.
