Skylar's POV

I gulped as she finished explaining the school rules. "Now, are you excited to meet your classmates? Follow me." She stood up from her seat and led me to the class.

We stopped infront of a door with 10 engraved on it. I inhaled as she went in to grab the class' attention.

After a couple seconds, she went out to call me in. "Introduce yourself," the vp whispered as I stand beside her.

Chase's POV

School was back, everything's just the same. My friends and I still basically control the school, since we came from rich parents, not to brag.

First time coming here was a nightmare. From people knowing that my dad is the owner of the Steele Technologies, its hard to make friends considering that most people are scared of me.

Somehow my friends and I clicked, they experienced the same situation as well when they moved, which they obviously took advantage of.

I joined them, since they're the only ones that are avaible for me, and that is one of the best decisions I made.

"Chase, you coming to my house tonight?" Kace, one of my friends, asked. I replied with a nod, receiving a grin from him.

"Class quiet down!" Everybody groaned, including me, annoyed that the class is about to start. "Good morning class, we have a new student with us." The vice principal mentioned as my face lightens up.

For the last 3 years, no new students had ever moved here considering that it's really hard to get in.

I saw the vp leading a person behind her. "Hi, uh I-I'm Skylar," a girl revealed herself from the vp's back.

My breath hitched as I stare at the girl, finding her really beautiful. People are staring at her as well as I look around.

"Skylar, you could sit anywhere." The vp smiled at her and left. My eyes followed her to find her sitting next to Courtney, and they seem close to each other.

The math teacher went in, meaning the class started.

Skylar's POV

Math class ended, and to be honest it was a bore. "So, in my school there are a few things you need to know," Coco said with a warning tone.

I grab my things and followed her out of the class to place my stuff in the locker.

"You should never mess with Chase, Colt, and Kace. They run this school since they came from rich families like you," My face shows disagreement but she ignored it," and they have looks which drive girls crazy."

"You should also avoid Paige, Chase's girlfriend wannabe. They never really dated, but Paige kept telling lies that Chase liked her yadayada. She's sorta the Queen B of this school." I gulped, not expecting this.

"But don't worry, all you need to do is to avoid them and you'll be fine." Coco said as she smiled and linked arms with me to the cafeteria.

We bought ourselves some snacks to bring joy to ourselves, just as they say food is someone's therapist. "So, so far so good?" Courtney asked as she ate the last piece of her cookie.

I nodded in reply. I took my last piece of my waffles before it was shoved out of my hand. "Aww sorry I didn't mean that," a pitch voice came behind me.

A girl caked with makeup showed herself with 3 girls behind her which I assumed are her clique.

"You must be new, I am Paige Starr, daughter of the owner of the Starr magazines." She flipped her hair, boasting her status as Courtney's face turned pale.
