Chapter 5

Shopping for party outfits

Ella and i entered into our first store, that was H&M, I didn't want to take long to shop as i would like to be ready in time. 

"Right, let's begin the hunt for this dress." said Ella as she started skimming through hangers already. 

"Are you buying anything?" i asked whilst i was looking through some clothes.

"Maybe, if i see anything i like then i will." She said pulling out a blue dress and held it in front of me. 

"You should, then we both can go with our new outfits." i said 

"Friends who stay together, slay together," said Ella. 

After skimming through pretty much every aisle, we both finally had a few clothes to try on. We went into the dressing rooms to our clothes on and every time we both changed into something new, we would show one another. 

I first walked out in a black long sleeved dress, Ella first tried on a red two piece. 

"Nah, black is boring" said Ella 

"Maybe a bit cold for this weather." i said 

After trying on everything we had, we eventually picked the best one. Ella went with a blue playsuit and for me i chose a white bodycon dress. 

"Honestly you look so pretty in that dress, and if you match it with your denim jacket, your gonna slay." Ella said as we were queueing up to pay. 

"Thank you, but you look stunning in that blue playsuit, so chic." i said 

After paying we went back home on the bus, Ella went back to her house which was around 10 minutes from mine, so she could get ready. As soon as i got home I started to get ready for the party, i had a shower and then put my makeup on in my room. I'm quite simple with makeup, i did my eyebrows, brown smokey eye shadow, mascara and of course red lipstick, I left my hair down. I put my new white dress on, as well as a denim jacket on top like Ella had suggested, and finally wore white trainers to complete the look. 

My phone buzzed, it was a text from Seth. 

Seth: Looking forward to seeing you x

I beamed at the text, and replied to him. 

Trinity: I'm looking forward to seeing you too x

Soon after Ella arrived at my doorstep, 

"OH MY GOD!! You look amazing!!" Said Ella

"Look at you, you look even more amazing." I said

"Thank you, but the question is, are you ready to party?" said Ella 

"Always, hang on let me say goodbye to my mum and siblings" i said "you can come in"

Ella walked in and shut the door behind her. 

I went to my mum who was in the kitchen,

"Bye mum, i'm gonna go now." i said giving her a kiss on the cheek. 

"Wow you ladies look stunning!" Said my mum "aw let me take a photo of you two"

"That would be great, thank you mum" I said 

Ella and i stood next to each other by the white wall, as my mum took a few photos on her phone. 

"Amazing." said my mum putting her phone down. Ella and i went over to her to look at the photos, we both looked so pretty. 

"Could you send them to me?" asked Ella 

"Yeah of course." said my mum "well you two better be off then" 

"Wait i want to say goodbye to Evie and Riley" i said going up stairs to each of their rooms. I went to Evie's room first, she's my youngest sibling who's 8. She was playing with her dolls house, and turned to see me walk in. 

"I wanted to say goodbye, i'm going to a party." i said crouching down next to her.

"Wow! you look so pretty." she said beaming at me. 

"Thank you," i said giving her a hug and she hugged me back. 

I went to see Riley in his room, who is 12, and he was playing on his xbox, laying on his bed. 

"I'm going now to a party, just wanted to say goodbye." i said walking over to Riley

"Bye, be safe." said Riley looking up at me. 

I went back downstairs, said one last goodbye to my mum, then walked out with Ella.
