You and Me

Chapter 6

Ella and i got to Seth's house by bus, the whole way on the journey i was nervous and excited at the same time. I knew it would be all his friends at the party but at least i had Ella by my side, and i'm only going so i can see Seth. Once we arrived you could hear music blaring and multicoloured lights shine through from the windows. His house was big but not too big, just decent size to have a party in, nothing like a mansion.

Ella and i knocked on the door and Tom answered, another friend of Seth's.

"Oi oi, we got some hotties at the front door." shouted Tom who seemed to be a little tipsy, as he held onto the door for support. 

I felt my stomach churn, i was already nervous to come to Seth's party, and didn't need Tom to make it worse for me. 

Ella held onto my hand and walked past Tom saying "Excuse us," 

"Oh shit, that's Ella and Trinity." Tom said finally realising it was us. 

I felt him stare behind us as we walked away into the house. Seth must of heard Tom call out our names, as he rushed around the corner almost bumping into us. 

"Oh sorry," said Seth, "hey, glad you guys could make it." 

I was so relieved to see Seth, every time i see him i smile instantaneously, when i look into his eyes all my worries fade away. At this point Ella let go of my hand. 

"Hey, of course we would make it." said Ella over the music. 

Seth blinked rapidly until he noticed me fully, in what i was wearing. 

"Oh wow! You look so beautiful." Seth said admiring my look. 

I blushed and looked down whilst biting my lower lip. 

"You look great as well Ella," he said.

"Cheers" said Ella

"Let me get you guys a drink, just follow me." said Seth as he walked in the direction to the kitchen. 

Ella and i followed after him into the kitchen behind him, Ella grinned at me whilst nudging me with her elbow. This was a sign she was happy for me. We walked into the kitchen and there were a few other people, who were drinking and talking. The kitchen was already a mess with empty cans and bottles scattered around the place, as well as food laid out on the island. 

"What do you guys want to drink?" asked Seth as he turned around to face us. 

"I'll just have a beer please," i asked 

"I will too," said Ella.

"Two beers coming right up," he said as he opened the fridge to pull out two bottles. He pulled the caps of both of them and poured them into two red cups, then handed us the beers. 

"Here you go," he said 

"Thank you." i said 

"Thanks," said Ella.

"You can help yourself to food or drinks whenever you want." said Seth

"Thanks," i said 

"I will definitely be hitting the food," said Ella. 

Seth and i both laughed. 

"Well i'm going to go and dance, see ya later." said Ella giving me a wink before she walked off. 

I took a swig of my beer, which was nice and cold, i felt it run down through my chest, giving me a slight chill.
