You and Me

Chapter 8

We walked out of the utility room and the music was still blaring, this time it was 'white noise by disclosure' playing in the background. We went into the kitchen and there was only Dylan and Melanie, who seemed to be flirting with one another. Dylan looked over at Trinity and i as we walked in, i knew even just before he was going to make a big deal about Trinity and i. 

"Where have you two rascals been then?" exclaimed Dylan.

This made Melanie look over at us, she looked at me before she looked over at Trinity. She has brown hair that was tied up in a messy ponytail, and was wearing black jeans with a mesh black top. 

"Is that a love bite i see?" Dylan asked me,

"Yeah so what?" i asked 

"Were you shagging it up in the utility room?" said Dylan. Melanie that seemed curious to find out whether it was true or not. 

"No, only you would." 

"At least i get some," 

"I really don't care," i said holding onto Trinity's hand to walk out of the kitchen. We went to go to the garden, there was a few other people outside, who were smoking and drinking still. 

"Sorry about that," i said moving my hand across my hair. 

"That's fine," She said "I should probably find Ella, she's might of been looking for me."

"Oh yeah of course, i'll help you," 

"Thanks," she said 

We walked back inside and into the living room, and there she was, sat on the sofa next to Jasmine, looking exhausted probably from dancing. 

"Hey, i wondered where you went?" asked Ella looking up at us.

"Sorry, someone spilt their drink on my dress, so Seth kindly washed it for me." she said standing over Ella. 

"Such a gentlemen," she smiled looking up at me. 

"Oh stop," i said jokingly flicking my hand, that made Ella laugh a little. 

"Just wanted to check up on you." said Trinity

"Thank you honey, but i'm all good, are you ok?" asked Ella

"Yeah, i'm good." said Trinity 

The song 'redbone by Childish Gambino' started to play, and everyone on the dance floor went crazy and cheering for the song. 

"OOoo shit i need to dance to this." said Ella getting up from the sofa already grooving to the music, as Jasmine stood up after her. 

Trinity turned around to me with a smile.

"May i have this dance?" i asked holding out my hand

"Of course you may," she said grabbing onto my hand and i spun her around, then brought her close to me. I had my hands around her waist and she had hers around my neck. We both were looking into one another's eyes and both mouthing the lyrics of the song and swaying to the beat. And in that moment everything seemed infinite, we felt infinite, as if time had stopped itself and it was just us in that moment. She made me the happiest i've ever been and just to dance with her was complete bliss. I looked down at her lips and went in to kiss her, she was kissing me back. I forgot how smooth her lips felt, as we were kissing passionately. Then just before the song ended i released my lips from hers. I could even tell that she was blushing under the blue lights. The next song that came on was 'levels by Avicii', and i spun her around and we began to dance, having the time of our lives. After dancing to a few more songs it was time for the party to end and everyone to leave as it was 11:30pm, the music switched off and the lights switched back on. Slowly everyone started to leave the house, they all thanked me for the party, until it was just me, Trinity, Ella and Jasmine left inside the house.
