Back at the mansion, I go to the section where the Personal Secret Service members are supposed to gather. There is an incoming intelligence telling us to be careful in Dasmarinas area. It looks like a secret organization has caught the scent of the PSS and they are hunting us now. Just like what happened this afternoon, which they do not know I am the one responsible.

So there are really enemies, this will be a problem. They really concluded that this secret organization targeting the PSS is situated in Dasmarinas. They don’t even know the real details of the death of the member a while ago.

I leave the briefing area and someone taps my back. It is Max.

“You should be extra careful right now. Dasmarinas City is not safe as you think it is. Be careful and watch the daughter carefully.” Max tells me.

     “I understand.”

I go outside the mansion. The large land of this family is good enough to have spots that I really like. I really like to stay in the high mango tree just west of the mansion. The wind there is comforting and the sunset is visible from afar, the Manila Bay can be seen.

As I survey the far stretches of the view. The daughter goes to my spot. I immediately stand high, as a sign of respect.

“You have come, ma’am?” I ask her.

“I can see your troubled heart.” She says to me.

“I know I am a failure for not being able to hide my emotions well.”

Sena goes even closer to me. I look back at her. I don’t have any idea of what reason she might have being here with me.

“Did Ria tell you anything earlier?” She asks

     “No ma’am, I don’t even know her.” I lied.

Sena sits into the swing that is tied into the mango tree. She tries to move her body so that the seat would move.

“Sometimes there are things which is better to be forgotten.”

She just says things like this. It’s like words of wisdom. But what is she trying to imply in the passages she just said. However, I see her words related to my curiosity right now. This is my chance to ask her.

“Ma’am do you know anything about me before I became a Personal Secret Service Member?” I ask her directly.

     “I’m sorry, but I don’t know anything.”

My hopes just come crashing down. I thought that maybe the daughter of this family would know my origin.

“Well, I should say that my past doesn’t really affect me now. I shall live as the new Ecclesiastes of the PSS. The present is much more important than the past, now that I have you and the family.” I say while looking into the crimson red skyline as the sun is about to set.

“It’s getting darker Ma’am, we should go inside.”

I escort the daughter into the mansion to her room. I would like to see her room but it is out of my jurisdiction. As she enters the room, she gives me a smile.

“Why don’t you smile back?” She suggests.

“You know I can’t do that.”

I go back into the PSS Quarters, where my room is located. The one who died, his name is Jeremy Sterks. He is a year older than me, a student of EARIST Cavite, located in General Mariano Alvarez. I never knew he is the one I killed earlier this afternoon. His room is located two doors away from mine. His death is not grieved, for the PSS cannot show emotions.
