The Guy Next Door:Chapter 8

At The Party

It was so beautiful. Our school was completely transformed. As we got out the limo there was a red carpt which lead straight into the hall. On either side of the carpet where balloons in the shape of hearts and stars. It looked so pretty both me and Shania let out a little squeak of excitement.

Shania grabbed Dans arm and walked down the red carpet with him and into the hall. As they opened the door you could hear the music because it was so loud. But least they had a good DJ this year. Sam then held my hand tightly in his and we waked over to the hall. When we walked through the doors I was shocked by what i saw!

It was like a dream come true. I pulled Sam straight over to the dance floor. It had been five minutes but I already was having a great time! Sam's smile never came off his face the whole time we was dancing, and neither did mine, until he finally spoke to me........

"Thanks for coming with me on such short notice, my girlfriend wasn't able to make it tonight so it was nice of you to come with me, you're a good friend" Right there I felt like I just died. Like my heart stopped. I ran away from the dance floor, away from Sam and ran straight to the girls toilets.

Tears started to form in my eyes but I did my best not to cry. I pulled out my from and text Alistair:

Katy: Where are you? Did you convince Mustafa to come?xxxxxxxx

Alistair: I'm at his house, he still wont come xxxxxxxxxx

Katy: Okay then........ keep him there, I'm coming over xxxxxxxxxx

Alistair: You sure? Be careful and I'll wait outside for you xxxxxxxxxx

Katy: I'll be fine, remember Mustafa lives next door to me haha xxxxxxxxxxx

Alistair: Ohh yeah, just hurry up!xxxxxxxxxxx

Shania came running into the toilets "What's going on Katy? Why did you leave Sam?" She asked looking puzzled. "Because I was his back-up because his girlfriend couldn't make it" I said making my way to the door. "Where are you going?" Shania asked. "I'm going to Mustafas" I picked up my purse and took off my heels, I had a lot of walking to do and I wasn't gonna wear these. "But what for?" Shania still didn't get the point that I had to make sure Mustafa was okay. I turned round to face my best friend and said "I need to tell him I love him" I smiled and ran down the hall way.

As i was running down I saw Callum with Helena and Hannah, who were wearing mine and Shanias dresses. I grabbed a glass of fruit punch and as I walked past Callum, I tipped it over his head, I then continued to run, laughing till i got outside.

I walked out of the school gates and began to run. I had to get to Mustafa before it was to late.....
