The Guy Next Door:The Final Chapter

Alistair was laughing as I pushed him higher and higher each time. I was still really upset about what happened with Shania. I just wished she was here. Then it could be the four of us again, not caring about what people thought of us; just having fun. Mustafa smiled at me every time I glanced over at him; his smiles always cheer me up. No matter how much I smiled I still wished Shania was here...

The gate of the park opened and I stopped pushing Alistair, hoping to see Shania. But it my surprise it was Sam. Why he was here I don't know, but when I turned my attention back to Alistair he swung back and hit me right it the stomach. I feel straight to the floor crying in pain. Mustafa sat me up and Alistair sat next to me pleading for forgiveness. "It's okay Ally, stop worrying" I said to make him feel a little less guilty. Sam ran over and him and Mustafa helped me up. The last thing I wanted was Sam to be here after what happened at the party. 

"Trust you to get hurt" said a voice from behind me. I turned round, still clenching my stomach in pain, to see Shania there with Daniel. "What you doing here?" I asked her trying to stand up. "I'm not sure if you remember but we are best friends, no matter how many times you fall over me and wake me up" I wrapped my arms around her and hugged her, "Least karma gets me back when I hit the wall" I whispered into her ear and she giggled.

Shania looked up at Sam and Daniel talking, "he's here becaus?" Shania had a point, Sam never came here. We walked over, I think he knew what we was going to ask. "Listen Katy, about the other night..." I tried to zone him out but it was no use "I never wanted you to feel hurt or used" he held my hand but I pulled it away. Last week I would've melted in his arms, but today, he no longer had me on a leash. "Sam that's enough, weather you was drunk or not that's how you made me feel"

I walked back over to Shania when he pulled on my arm, "Katy, I'm sorry, but please give me a chance, will you go out with m?"  Shania, Mustafa and Alistair walked over, they all looked as shocked as I was. "I'm sorry Sam but I'm taken" I turned round and Mustafas mouth was wide open. God he was an idiot. "By who?" Sam and Mustafa asked at the same time. I looked over at Shania and smiled to her as I saw Daniel grab her hand.

I held Mustafas hand tightly in mine and said "I'm taken by Mustafa" His eyes brightened up and he pulled me into a hug and wouldn't let go. I turned round to Sam, I knew he didn't really love me, but bless him for wanting me to be happy. I walked over to him and gave him a hug "thanks for always making me happy" I whispered in his ear. I couldn't see his face, but I could tell that he was smiling. As I pulled away, Shania walked over and placed a hand on my shoulder. "Hey Katy, I think our group has room for one more member" I knew what she meant. "I think your right Shania" we both looked at Sam who was smiling.

We all went over and sat in front on the tree. Shania was sat next to Daniel with her legs over his, Alistair and Sam where leaned up against the tree and I was sat  in between Mustafas legs getting a nice little cuddle. I looked up at him and smiled. "So it's me and you now" Mustafa whispered into my ear. "Yep, just me and you, forever" and with that he leaned over me and kissed me. 

Mustafa went from being the guy next door to being MY guy next door. And that's my story. THE END :)
