Kid Flash's POV
I shudder as I wake up slowly. The nightmare serum the Injustice league developed to make us talk feels so real. I'm sweating from the nightmare. I groan at the gashes and cuts the injustice league made on me. Not only do they hurt, they are pus-filled and red with infection. I look around and see Robin and the others. They look nearly as bad as me. I try to talk but my voice is muffled by the stupid container I'm in. They look at me and Artemis smiles grimly and mouths "Hi Baywatch." I raise my eyebrows in surprise. If she's greeting me now, I must have done something right. Or she's just cracked from the Injustice league's torture. I sigh at the handcuffs around my arms and legs and try to vibrate through. Zatanna and M'gann shake their heads sadly. I growl when I feel the inhibitor collar around my neck. Not only did they take our powers, they stopped us from using them. Great. Just great. "Where's Superboy?" I mouth to M'gann. Surely she'd know where he was. M'gann merely shrugs and mouths something I don't understand. Before I can ask her to repeat what she tried to say, a door opens and the Injustice league walk in. The glass of the containers slide open. I study the looks of our captors. They look grim and serious. Not to mention troubled. But by what? "What's the matter Count Dracula? Something screwed up your evil master plan?" I grin. Not my best pun, but good enough. Kauldar Robin and Artemis shake their heads. I know my big mouth will get me in trouble someday. But for now, I'll need it to find out what's going on. Count Vertigo growls and makes his way to my container. "If I were you, Wallace west, I'd shut up. Or I'd have more than this to worry about." He stabs my wounds with his stick and I cry out in pain. "Wally!" Artemis yells. Not only did the wounds hurt, so did the mention of my full name. I'd never get rid of the memories from my childhood that haunted me. "Thank you for your...cooperation," Count Vertigo says. "We need more answers," Posion Ivy butts in. "Ivy," Wotan warns. "Shut up. You brats better spill all the secrets of the league. If you don't, I swear you'll die right here, right now." "We would rather die than tell you the secrets of our mentors," Kauldar speaks up. Ivy smirks. "Are you sure? Your death will be slow and painful..." Robin snorts. "Your 'slow and painful' is merely nothing compared to the dressing down the mentors will give us WHEN they get us and not if." Ivy growls. "Enough Ivy," Joker snarls. "You realise young heroes, no matter how much you hope or how much you believe in your mentors, They will not come. They can't even locate us. How are they going to handle us with super powers?" I bite back a retort. They're right. Well sorta. "Well no matter what, we're not going to tell," M'gann says. "That's right! We're not going down without dignity!" Artemis says firmly. I grin despite the situation we're in. Good old Artemis. If I knew any better, if we were in a less dire situation, she would probably nudge my shoulder and go "Well maybe except Baywatch. But the rest of us wil anyway," "Very well then, suit yourself pathetic children. You have decided your own fate." Count Vertigo snarls and the Injustice league walk off.
Hey! I think I made it longer :P I hv no idea D: Anyway I think I'm getting used to writing again :D Sadly the story is almost over. I think there will be like 40 chapters or something. Sorry :( but it is good so far right? I mean...okay never mind. Before I flip out, remember to comment abt how u find this so that I can improve! All I care abt is u ppls enjoying this :) Bye!
