Chapter 14-New danger

M'gann's POV (Hopefully this is the real M'gann XD)

"Guys? Guys? Are you there?" I ask. Im in this dark abyss, with darkness stretching miles and miles. I look around and see a faint shadowy figure. "Conner? Is that you?" I ask and take a step forward. The figure turns around. "Hello young hero." Count vertigo says. "Count Vertigo! Where did you take me?" I snarl. When I was knocked out, I saw a flash of green and yellow. It must hve been Vertigo. Which other villian has a green cloak and blonde hair? "I merely borrowed you for a while..You will be comfortable too, some friends have already joined us and I think you may know them." Vertigo says. "How could anyone I know ever be here? At the mountain everyone was there!" I say. "Ah so you still don't see it. Very well. Let me clear your mind." Vertigo says and steps back into the shadows.

I gasp as I wake up. Im in a long glass cylinder tube and chained to it. I try density shifting through the chains but receive an electric shock. "No no no Martian. We can't hve you doing that." Count Vertigo appears. "Now I said that I'd introduce you to your friends did I? Here they are." A light shines on other corners of the room and I gasp. Its Artemis, Zatanna and Wally! Wally is frozen solid inside ice and Zatanna is submerged in water while Artemis is unconscious. "We tested their reactions to extreme conditions. Don't worry, they are still alive. Wotan performs magic to keep the one in water alive but they are all still hardly alive." Tears form in my eyes. "But how? They were there with me.." "My dear are you really that stupid? Those were clones. The real ones were here all along. And now you have been cloned as well. While the clones kidnap the real members of the young justice team and bring them to us for experiments and such, The clones also get information from the league." Vertigo says. "And we'll be able to take out the justice league." "No!" I yell. Please let this be a simulation like the training. I'll wake up and everyone will be fine all fine,I think as Vertigo laughs. "Not a chance! This is not a dream. Only the beginning of a waking nightmare!" Vertigo says. I pause. How did he..? "We have a little device we used to absorb your powers. We also absorbed his powers," Vertigo gestures to Wally "How did you think we cloned everyone so fast?" "So now you can read..." "Your mind yes, and I have all your abilities. Everyone in the Injustice league does. As for the Kid, We have other plans. Today, Is a new day. Four young leagers out of seven captured and we'll be subjecting you all to experiments and torture. At least until you tell us what we want." Vertigo leans in. "Our clones sadly, do not get enough information from the leagers fast enough, so we will get that information from you until the clones can do it faster. Where. Is. The Justice league headquaters?" "The hall of justice." I say quickly. "Really? think again. I'll give you one more chance. If you tell me, I'll quickly melt the ice, lower the water and help the archer become conscious. If you don't, you can be sure to have the three members killed slowly and painfully." I look between my friends and Vertigo as he grins viciously. He has me trapped. "It..its a space port in space. I've never been there but my uncle J'ohn told me it's like a satelie or something..." I trail off. Vertigo smiles. "Thats all we need. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll help your friends out of their little problems and we'll get more answers from you later." I look at my friends. What did I just do?

{For those who are confused by the last part, M'gann thought her friends were better off dying than being tortured more as u knw less pain or smthing but also lemme say that Kid Zatanna and Artemis's wounds are almost healed cuz they were in the tubes for quite some time and the wounds almost healed already. But the injustice league will be torturing them so it doesn't make a diff lol. If you're wondering where the Joker, Poison Ivy, Black Adam, Wotan and the rest are, I'm saving em for later.}
