Chapter 5

-Virgil's POV-
"Ro?" I ask, waking up, "Can I introduce you to some people?"
"Yeah, sure."
I look at my phone as it starts blowing up with notifications from the news app.
I open one.

"Popular Tumblr user ThisIsMyUrl has informed us that on a post about Roman's disappearance with Virgil, Roman said that he did have a crush on Virgil. We don't know how long, or how intense, but now we know! More as it happens."

"That absolute snitch," I hear Roman whisper.
"Do you want to go meet my friends? You could make some friends. They're really nice."
"That would be nice."
"Okay, then let go of me. I have to change."
I come back wearing black jeans, my hoodie, and a T-shirt. Roman's wearing a red T-shirt and white jeans.
"So you ditched green," I say, acknowledging his shirt.
"That was the Hero color. I'm not part of that anymore."
"You're awesome. Let's go!"
We go to meet Patton and Logan.

I knock on their door.
"Pat, can you get the door?" I hear Logan call.
"On it!"
The door opens to reveal Patton, standing with a cookie in one hand.
"Hey Virgil! What's up? And who's this?"
"Hey Patton. This is Roman. Roman, Patton."
"Nice to meet you, Patton."
"So you're the Roman Britly That everyone's blowing up about?"
"I guess."
"Come in!"
We walk in and I take off my shoes, and tell Roman to take off his.
"Logan! Virgil brought a friend over!"
Logan came in, shook our hands and introduced himself to Roman.
"Come in the living room," said Patton, "I made cookies!"
Roman and I sat down next to each other.
"So," Patton began, "the news app says you've got a crush on Virgil, Roman?"
"Um..."
I kiss Roman's cheek just to show Patton what's going on.
He squeals and almost falls off his chair.
"Oh my stuffed animals! You guys are so cute! I can't believe it! My bff is all grown up!!!"
He hugged me and then Roman and yelled for Logan to get in the living room.
"Patton? What's happening?"
"Show Logan What you showed me, Virgil!"
I kissed Roman's cheek again and he blushed, avoiding eye contact.
"Are you two in a relationship?"
"Yes," Roman piped in, sitting up straight. (A/N like he could ever be straight)
This time, I was the one to blush.
