I woke up to the sound of a car motor and the blinding light of the sun. I slowly opened my eyes and noticed that my head was resting against the window. The scenery outside the window seem to pass by very quickly before I can try to see where I was. I looked over at the driver's seat where I found Ed, with his hands on the steering wheel.

"You're awake, finally I was starting to get lonely," he stated as a smirk grew on his face.

"Sorry, ugh I had this really weird dream," I groaned as I stretched my arms out in front of me.

"What was it about?"

"It was at work and you had your concert and then there were these two scary men who grabbed me. I elbowed him in the stomach and then we about to get out of there, they started shooting at us but Stevie knocked them out and when we ran away from everything."

"Hate to burst your bubble, An, but that actually happened."

I groaned again and my forehead started pounding. I seriously wasn't in the mood to think what happened last night was real and I just wanted it to be a dream. Thinking about almost being kidnapped and being shot at was real seemed like something that came out of a movie. Yes I was somewhat kidnapped when I was little but I never expected seeing a gun in my life.

"You okay? After what happened last night?" he asked, glancing at me for a few seconds before looking back on the road.

"I'm not sure, just a little truamitzed. How are you?"

"Better now we're not there."

"So where are we going?"

"To a friend's house, since that is the first thing that I've thought of."

"How long have you been driving?"

"All night, but I did take a little nap once we got out of London."

"Ed, I can drive. You need your sleep," I offered.

"Its okay, we're almost there anyway and I could probably rest there."

"How much longer?"

He stopped the car and I looked out the window to see that we had pulled up in front of a small red cottage.

"We're here." We hopped out of the car and I grabbed my backpack, hiked it up my shoulder as I closed the door. Walking around the car, I followed Ed towards the front door when it burst open with 4 year old twins running over to us. The two looked identical except for the fact that one was a girl and the other was a boy.

"Uncle Ed!" They exclaimed jumping onto Ed, who hugged them both.

"Hey guys, oh my you've grown since the last I saw you two," he stated.

"Uncle Ed! Me and May can ride a bicycle!" the little boy said.

"That's awesome you two!" Ed smiled.

I looked over to Ed, not sure if I should introduce myself to them or not. I opened up my mouth but stopped as soon as a couple, who looked around mid 20's, stepped out of the house, with their arms wide and hugged Ed.

"Its good to see you again," the man stated as he stepped out of the hug.

"Everyone this is my friend, Annie," Ed introduced them to me.

The woman shook my hand and introduced me to everyone.

"I'm Elena and this is husband Peter and our son, Luke and daughter, May."

"Its really nice to meet you," I stated.

"Lets get you two inside. You must be tired," Peter assumed as we followed them inside the little house. May closed the door behind us and everyone filed into the living room. I sat down next to Ed on the couch and the twins sat on the floor in front of us while their parents stood behind them.

"So how was your trip?" Peter asked.

"Very tiring, since she slept the whole way," Ed joked.

"I'm sorry, but you could've woke me so I could've," I stated.

"Its okay love, it was funny hearing you talk in your sleep."

I hit him softly in the arm.

"Ed, you must be tired, follow me so you can sleep," Elena said, Ed stood up and followed her out the room.

"So how did you and our little Eddie meet?" Peter asked. His brown hair was more close to blonde than brown and his blue eyes shined from the sun in the window.

"I kind of insulted him at a pub that I work at," I answered.

"Fiesty one you are," he joked.

"Thanks," I rolled my eyes.

"So, Ed told me about what happened last night."

"From what it sounds like, we're criminals on the run."

"Its okay, if you need anything, just yell for us." I nodded and watched as Peter left the room and it was just me and the twins.

"So are you uncle Eddie's girlfriend?" May asked. She was so cute the two both had their mother's blonde hair and their father's blue eyes, and a small dimple on their right cheek as they smile.

"Um no, Ed and I just friends," I told her.

"If you don't go out with him, can I have you?" Luke asked.

"You're so adorable, but for me, you have to be over 5 feet and over 16."

He pouted like the little boy he is and I just smiled, they are so cute.

"So what do you two like to do for fun?" I asked.

"C'mon, lets go color," May said as she stood up and grabbed my hand, I followed her into the kitchen sitting down at the table. May and Luke sat down next to each other and startred to color their little books in front of them. May handed me a picture and I started to color a picture of a princess until Elena sat down at the table.

"So Annie, how long have you known Ed?" she asked.

"About a few days or so, he's really great."

"Yes he is. he told us so much about you and I can tell that he really likes you."

Ed likes me? As a friend or more than a friend?
