Marina's POV

Life as a celebrity always seems so amazing. But no one ever tells you the dark side. I've been thrown around, assaulted and shamed, for what? Is it really worth it? We call ourselves human but are we really? I always thought people that did terrible things to others were anti-human. But I made an exception for Abel. For Lana, to make her happy. All I wanted was for her to be happy.

It's been 5 years since we found out that Abel was in prison for life. I got Lana out of jail because her lawyer proved that she was on the verge of going insane and needed serious mental help.  And here I am now, lying in my bed doing nothing and waiting for Lana to come home from Walmart. Lana and I have taken a long break from music so we could focus on our relationship. I consider myself madly in love with her and I would give anything for her. If she needs support I'm here. My thoughts are interrupted by Lana waking through the door.

"Yo." Lana greets me as she walks to the kitchen and places 2 plastic bags on the counter.

"Hey babe, I missed you so much."

"HEY, YOU AND I ARE GOING TO WATCH SO MANY MOVIES TONIGHT." Lana says very enthusiastically. I've always noticed that Lana jokes around to deal with her pain.

"Ok then, do we have some chips at least?" I answer. I'm really tired and i don't have the energy to yell right now.

"I got you covered!" Lana says as she takes a bag of chips out of the bag and places it in my hands.

I check the time, 8:57 pm. Well might as well get comfy.

*2 hours pass*

"Maaaaarrrrrriiiiinnnnnnaaaaaaaaaa" Lana groans from the other side of the couch.

"What do you want baby?" I say in a sweet tone.

"Can we go upstairs and watch the movies?" Wow, she sounds so much like a little kid.

"Sure." I respond as I carry her snacks and lightly jogging up the stairs, Lana slowly following behind.

"Thank you." She says and I put the snacks on the queen-sized bed and kiss her forehead.

A few hours pass, and we've watched several movies but Lana suddenly pauses one. She looks at me from the other side of the bed and tilts her head.

"You are so beautiful." Lana says and I kinda get caught off guard.

"And you are more beautiful, come sit closer." I say as I gently pat the empty space next to me on the bed.

Lana puts her head on my shoulder and her right hand on my thigh.

"I love every little thing about you Marina. Don't change anything. I love you so much and you are the best thing that's ever happened to me."

"I love you too Lana. I'm so glad that you are better. We are finally happy."
