LOVE + FEAR

Lana

I walked into a huge café, barely being able to concentrate with the dim lighting. I walked to the counter and asked for the 'drink of the day' and waited. I sat down looking at all the people with their boyfriends and laughing, mean while, I'm sitting all alone feeling extremely lonely.

A few minutes pass and I notice a woman standing in the entrance of the café. I get a breeze of fresh air and stare at the beautiful woman. I start to observe her barely lit face and body. Her long hair flowed naturally down her shoulders, her eyes were dark brown and I felt as if I could lost in them forever, like a dark void, her nose was perfect, and her plump lips made me want her even more. Don't get me started on her body. She wore a dark red fitted dress that hugged her hips beautifully, and her legs were pale and muscular.

Damn, she is perfect.

As she started to walk towards me I froze and kept staring. She sat down next to me and turned her head.

"I noticed you were staring since I walked in, so I decided to come over here." The woman laughs nervously.

Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, she is so beautiful.

"Um yeah, sorry about that. The name's Marina." I respond, trying not to sound creepy.

"Don't worry about it, call me Lana." Lana says and stretches her arm out to shake my hand.

ABORT MISSION. MARINA ABORT.

I smile nervously and shake her soft and gentle hand. I notice that her nails are very long and fancy compared to mine.

"This might sound very weird, uh, but can I have your number? I kinda had a feeling about you since you walked in. I mean- like you w-would make a really good friend." I wanted her to be mine.

"Oh yeah, sure! You also seem very nice." Lana says and puts her phone number into my phone.

We talked for hours, trying to get to know each other. Lana checked the time on her phone and told me she had to go. I was left alone in the now quiet café and thought about the woman I'd just met.

I love her already and I don't even know her.
