CHAPTER 1
first chapter!! And well before that, i just wanna briefly explain the format:
bold italic = what's written in the book
italic = flashbacks (or sometimes the character's thoughts)
— 'italic' = written on the board/messages
normal = present time/ or when Ben is reading

Dear Benjamin Ferguson,
yep, of course I know you'll be the one who open this book. And no, I'm not scared if anyone else is going to open it, because I have my ways to make sure this book is in your hands.
Anyways, do you remember how we first spoke? Our first conversation five months ago? It started right in this room, initially because I was bored and wrote a little hi on the backside of the board.
"Music room again, Eugene?" Emily said.
"Yeah, I need to finish the first part of the choreography today. See ya!" Eugene said before storming off to the music room.
After thirty minutes, she finished practicing and was resting. While scrolling through her social media, she suddenly remembered the little 'hi' she wrote during her previous free period.
Curious whether or not it was still there, she decided to check whether it was still present behind the music board. And to her surprise, it was still there—with little reply written next to it.
'hi :)'
'hello!' it said.
Of course, I didn't expect to see a reply next to it. It may seem like a simple action, but I was glad I wrote that message there, that day.
