CHAPTER 11

After a week of trying, I gave up. It broke my heart a little, when I saw nothing next to my message everyday.

"You've been very gloomy these days, Gene." Emily said.

"Yeah, especially after going back from the practice room. Is it that hard and tiring for you? I can ask my friend to teach you," Another friend of hers offered.

"Ah, no. It's nothing. I'm fine," She lied. There was no way she would tell them about those writings, especially how the person writing to her was 'the' Ben Ferguson.

"My friend Ben is also acting weird," A friend blurted out. "You know how he always go to the third floor practice room, right? Well he—"

"Does he still go there these days?" Eugene couldn't help but ask. She tried resisting but the thought of her lonely message, untouched and lonely pulled back into her mind.

"Um, yeah. But he only goes there when he's feeling emotional. He's being weird lately."

Eugene didn't know why she was feeling this way, but she definitely knew she was worried about him.

So, you intentionally ignored me that time?
