Joy POV

I woke up the next morning, still pretty pissed about Lisa dumping slime on me last night. but I was excited about the date I had with Taehyung today. I got up from my bed and went to the bathroom. I did my usual morning routine and I decided to straighten my hair. I got dressed and put on a black hoodie, a jean skirt, and a black baseball cap. 

I texted Taehyung and said good morning. Then I asked him where we should meet up. He tells me to meet him at the park, after texting him I go downstairs and greet my dad, "morning dad" I said happily. 

"Morning sweetie," he tells me as he reads from the newspaper and takes a sip of coffee."Oh, I made breakfast so sit down and eat," he said, looking up at me. I clapped my hands with excitement, since my dad isn't home really I always cook for myself. 

I finish up and wash my dish. I say goodbye to my dad, and grab my stuff and leave the house. I walked to the park and saw Taehyung sitting on a bench on his phone. I walked up behind him and scared him. 

"AHHHH!" Taehyung screamed, falling to the ground, I laughed at his face as he fell to the ground, "Do you need help?" I asked, unable to control my laughter.

"No, are you ready to go?" He asks me as he gets off the ground, dusting himself off, I nod my head in response. 

We leave the park and go to the movies and watch "Avengers Endgame". During the movie, Taehyung kept putting his arm around me and holding my hand, which was cliche but cute. We finished the movie and went to get ice cream. 

While eating Taehyung starts talking about the project, says that he was done with his half of the project and I need to do mine. 

We leave the ice cream place and go back to the park. It was pretty dark so all the lights were on, " Wow, this is beautiful" I say, amazed by its beauty, "Yeah, beautiful like you", he says in a soft voice. "Huh?? What you say?" I asked, turning to him. "Oh nothing," he replied. We continued to walk around the park, talking and learning more about each other. 

"Hey get on one knee", I say standing in front of him. He lifts an eyebrow, " Why?" He asks, "Just do it". He gets down on one knee and looks up at me, " I hear by dub the Taehyung to call me Joy other than Soo-young from now on" I said, tapping both his shoulders. He gets up and looks at me with a confused face. "Why joy?" He asked, a confused expression plastered on his face, "because, I like being called that, and it's a nickname I got from my dad. 

We sat on a bench looking at the sky. It was beautiful. This was the first time I've ever felt this way with someone, the feeling gave me butterflies. As we were watching the sky fireworks go off, making this the perfect date ever.
