I was wearing a fluffy pink dress with a purple belt or sash, I didn't really know. But as I continued to walk inside I heard people whisper.
"Oh my God, is that Soo-young?!? She looks so pretty" one girl whispered, "Yeah she looks better than Lisa'' another girl said. There was compliment after compliment and it felt great to be called pretty or beautiful.
After a minute people went back to enjoying the dance. As I was just sitting down from dancing so much, all my friends left me for their dates. While I was eating the free food they served, Lisa walked up to me with her heels clacking. "Hi, Soo-young! You look like you're having fun" she said, rubbing up against me.
"Yeah, I am. Pizza pretty good" I said taking a bite, I could see Lisa wanted to rip my head off. She walked off with a huff and I was alone again.
But soon I noticed someone coming in my direction. it was just Taehyung, "Hey you here alone?" He asked as he sat down next to me.
"Yeah I don't have a date" I sighed
"Yeah me too. I just got dumped in front of everyone" he said awkwardly. I laughed loudly when he told me that.
We talked for a while and I was enjoying his company, "Soo-young I want to apologize for hurting you. I was a total mess without you...and well, what I want to say is that I still love you" he confessed to me.
I teared up when told that, and I responded in the most honest way I felt.
"Taehyung, you did hurt me, but now hearing your confession on how it affected you and hearing how you really feel, I just wanna say I forgive you slightly and I love you too," I told him. Taehyung embraced me into a tight hug. After a while of hugging a slow song plays, "H-hey you wanna dance?" He asked me.
"I'd love to," I said, holding out my hand. We ran to the dance floor and everyone was watching us, some were even taking videos.
"This is really weird" I giggled, "yeah it is" Taehyung chuckled, pulling me closer. We continued to dance. I could feel Lisa burning holes in the back of my head, "Hey taehyung can I ask you something" I asked, "Yeah sure"
I became nervous because I was about to ask him a really big question, "Taehyung...do u wanna go out with me again?" I reluctantly asked, he smiled big and smashed his lips against mine.
And of course, I responded and I kissed him back, once we lost our breath we broke the kiss.
"I'll take that as a yes." I chuckled happily, and all Taehyung did was just kiss me again. It was the perfect night and I was so happy at that moment. And now my story has a different ending than I expected but I don't care, I'm just happy.
