Chapter 8

Josie POV:
I woke up with a smile on my face. Yesterday was the best day of my life! I went on amazing date with Penelope and I really think this is really going somewhere. But I still have to talk to Lizzie about that face that she made yesterday.

Right at that moment Lizzie came out of the bathroom. I nicely asked her what was going on and she tried to fake a smile, but I could tell something was bothering her "look. Josie, I don't want you to get hurt, so I have to tell you something I heard about Penelope. I talked to the other witches after you left yesterday because I found it suspicious that Penelope would just ask you out and-".

I stood up and crossed my arms "So, you are basically saying that no one could just like me. That this basically has to be a game of hers. I trust her, okay? The witches are just jealous". Then somebody knocked on the door." Hey Jojo, wanna get breakfast? ". I smiled " Yeah, sure. ". I could feel Lizzie's glare, but I didn't care. I was happy.

We walked in holding hands and everyone was staring at us. We chose a table and ate. I really enjoy spending time with Penelope and I really like her, even more than I already did. In the middle Rafael came and started talking to me "Hey Josie, you look really great today. ". I could feel Penelope's stare on me " Thanks, Raf." I managed to get out.

We talked for another 5 minutes, but then Rafael went back to his friends. I saw Penelope looking at me almost mad "Jojo, who was that and why did he flirt with you? ". I tried to keep a straight face but failed miserably. " Are you jealous Penny? ". She looked at her food and after a couple of seconds I whispered in her ear "Don't worry, I think it's hot. ".

She smirked "Well, I can't help myself, do you know how hard is it to keep such a cute person, Jojo? ". I blushed and slapped her shoulder " Shush....and besides we are only friends. ". She smiled and said " Can you meet me today at 9 pm on our spot? " I nodded, kissed her cheek and went to throw all the trash away.

The moment I stepped in my room Lizzie jumped on me "look, I am sorry. I only tried to look after you. If you trust her, I trust your judgement. I even forgot to ask you how your date was? ". I told her everything and she was so happy for me " So, is Posie on or off? ". I looked at her like she had two heads " What is Posie? ". She sighed " Oh, my sweet, sweet sister. Penelope plus Josie is Posie. I made it up. "

She looked so proud at herself. "Oh, I'm meeting her tonight. ". Her phone light up and when she looked at it she immediately smiled " Who are you texting, Liz?" She looked at me and said "You will never know", blew me a kiss and walked put of the room.
