Chapter 4: The Dog’s New Goal in Life

Lu Chenghe had the habit of running in the morning and his biological clock woke him up very punctually. As soon as he sat up, he looked at the kennel placed across from the bed as well as the little Samo in the kennel who was sleeping sprawled out on its back. This little puppy being well-behaved was somewhat unexpected. It was quiet all night and didn’t make any sound, making Lu Chenghe rather satisfied. If the little thing was noisy at night, Lu Chenghe would definitely throw it out.

But this way of sleeping was still too ugly, Lu Chenghe didn’t know whether the dog trainer could correct the dog’s sleeping position.　　

Hearing some rustling sounds, Zuo Ning immediately opened his eyes. The little short legs turned over and sat up. He slept too early yesterday so today, he woke up a long time ago and his stomach had also started rumbling. Unfortunately, the amount in the food bowl was of a fixed quantity as they were worried about the dog not knowing when it was full and stuffing itself to death. Yesterday, he was hungry in the middle of the night and ate all of the food in the food bowl.

Seeing that Lu Chenghe had gotten up, he jolted toward him and followed.

As Lu Chenghe solved his bodily problems, he squatted by the door. Lu Chenghe began to brush his teeth and wash his face while Zuo Ning sat by Lu Chenghe’s feet. When Lu Chenghe went to the cloakroom to change clothes, Zuo Ning quickly ran to his special small toilet and quickly solved his own bodily problems before running back to the door of the cloakroom and sitting down.

After a while, Zuo Ning looked up and saw Lu Chenghe coming out of the cloakroom wearing sportswear.

Yesterday, he saw Lu Chenghe wearing loungewear. Even if it was loungewear, it was hard to hide the sharpness of the person wearing it. Perhaps it was because he turned into a dog as the natural instincts of the small animal made him unconsciously fearful of Lu Chenghe.

But today, because his hair probably hadn’t been styled yet and he was wearing a set of sportswear full of youthfulness, his disposition seemed much less sharp, and Zuo Ning only now discovered that Lu Chenghe’s age shouldn’t be too old. However, his figure was truly amazing. His thin waist and long straight legs made Zuo Ning incomparably envious.

After changing his clothes and coming out, Lu Chenghe saw that foolish and meng little appearance. Seeing it wait outside of the door in a well-behaved manner, he let out a rare smile. Not waiting for Zuo Ning to react, he walked straight outside and Zuo Ning promptly followed. Although dog food was unpalatable, at any rate, it was food. When you’re hungry, there’s no need to be picky and moreover, he wasn’t qualified to be picky right now.

Additionally, he didn’t know what this man’s breakfast would be or if he could eat some of it today. But even if he couldn’t eat it now, after waiting for his position in this family to stabilize, he will one day be able to eat human food!

Not knowing of Zuo Ning’s new ambitions, Lu Chenghe went straight to the backyard. The steward and the maid were already standing on the promenade with towels and other items. Only now did Zuo Ning realize that his understanding of this family was not deep enough.

He thought that the place he lives now was a huge mansion, but looking at it now, it seemed to be a luxury mansion. It was just like the manors that he had previously seen on television. Whose house’s backyard was large like a small forest with a huge artificial lake?!

Not discovering Zuo Ning’s suddenly lifeless eyes, Lu Chenghe stretched his muscles. Looking down at Zuo Ning, he said: “Stay here. Don’t run around everywhere.”

After speaking, Lu Chenghe started to run. Seeing that Zuo Ning was really obediently sitting in the same spot, he started to quicken his pace.

Looking at Lu Chenghe who had already run far away, Zuo Ning miserably sat right on the ground. He felt that the only benefit of becoming a dog was that he could sleep anywhere and at any time. However, he was really, really, really hungry. Where’s his breakfast? This was simply dog abuse.
