Chapter 11:  Dog Life’s First Car

Zuo Ning got a new toy, the type that he really wanted to play with for a period of time when he was a child. But at that time, the price wasn’t cheap so his mother wasn’t willing to buy it for him to play with. After he grew up, this kind of thing became popular and inexpensive, and he had also long passed the age where he could play with those toys. However, he didn’t expect that he would have the chance to play with them in this lifetime.

As per usual, after Zuo Ning accompanied Lu Chenghe on his morning run, he took the chance to push lightly on his body and ask for food as part of their daily intimate morning behaviour. Soon afterwards, the steward came over with two people carrying an oversized package and said that this was a present that Madam Lu had specially sent for Little Pudding.

Zuo Ning, who had originally wanted to eat a bite of egg white, had egg yolk stuffed into his mouth by Lu Chenghe. While swallowing the egg yolk and almost choking to death, the dog’s two paws hung over Lu Chenghe’s arms and curiously looked toward the gigantic package. He was sent a gift, one this large, one that was specially sent over from Italy, and he also didn’t know what kind of good thing it was.

Lu Chenghe held Little Pudding’s belly in one palm to avoid having its leg slide down and causing it to fall down off of his body as he swept his eyes over that big package, indicating for the steward to open it. They promptly opened it up, layer by layer, then a brand new Lamborghini that was bright red in colour with smooth contours and looked particularly expensive appeared before everyone’s eyes. But this Lamborghini was a bit different from the usual [1] as it was a bit small.

On the side, the steward said: “This morning when the young master was running, Madam called, saying to film a short video of Little Pudding driving a car and send it to Madam. In addition, she told the young master to video call the madam together with Little Pudding when you have time.”

At that time, Lu Chenghe who was wiping Little Pudding’s mouth paused and said “En” to show that he understood, but he shouldn’t have the time to so and even if he did, it would probably be after Little Pudding went to sleep. In any case, this little thing was this lazy and from the beginning, it just slept all day.

The steward couldn’t guess the young master’s thoughts. After hearing the young master’s response, he handed the remote control over to the young master: “This is what the madam had custom-made just after bringing Little Pudding home. Aside from improving the interior of the model, the rest was made according to the real car.”

Lu Chenghe placed Little Pudding, who was inquisitively looking at the car with its eyes wide open, into the car. Although it was a toy car, the technology and materials were nevertheless real and it came from a car manufacturing facility. Furthermore, because the models were different, it was even more labour intensive to make.

It wasn’t the first time that the Lu family had custom ordered this kind of toy, nearly every child of the Lu family had this kind of toy in their childhood. It seemed that Mother Lu was completely raising Little Pudding like she would a child.

It was Zuo Ning’s first time sitting in this kind of toy car as in his childhood, he couldn’t afford one. Though after growing up, he’d seen quite a few children in the neighbourhood playing with this kind of toy, every time, he would only give an envious look before leaving. After all, a person of that age playing with a child’s toy was too shameful, and as a youngster, he still needed his reputation.

But now, with a layer of his fur spread out in the car, he wasn’t even half a year old so he didn’t need to worry about the problem of reputation at all. Thus, he curiously felt around the car, patting here and there with half of his small tongue sticking out and his eyes narrowing as he smiled.
