"Shit, shit!" Jin, supporting Namjoon, fell into the bedroom, panting and terrified. Jungkook followed, propelled out of the stairwell by a shove. Taehyung lunged out seconds before the stairs completely disappeared from under him, leaving him hanging above a drop he didn't want to think about, scrambling for purchase, the blood soaked blonde and one armed detective pulling him up.

"Keep going!" Tae scrambled to his feet and pushed the others out of the room, the burned woman rising from the bed she once flung herself upon over and over, now stalking after them. Reaching the hall they began to run as best they could, the house bucking and raging around them, toward the stairs.

"Oh shit." Rounding the corner, Tae stopped dead.

They were all waiting.

Including the recent ghost of Dr. Lee May, dead eyes glared at him resentfully as pale arms held her open stomach closed, her entrails spilling between splayed fingers.

"There's a bunch of ghosts in front of us isn't there." Jin said panting.

"Yes." Tae choked out. "On three, run."

Nervous, they waited.

"Three!"

What followed was utter chaos.

Three of them couldn't see their attackers, Tae watching as they were thrown, scratched, clawed, and beaten back, the ghosts playing with them, waiting for...he didn't want to know.

Collapsing together they unsteadily got to their feet, resigned to their fate. A touch to his shoulder from behind had Tae whipping his head around, his sore neck protesting, the others looking wearily at Tae, not seeing anything.

Jimin.

"Get ready." Tae whispered.

Jimin raced forward pinning the others, fighting to hold them all down.

"Go, go!"

They made it to the stairs, hurrying down, Tae falling the last little bit only to be grabbed by Jungkook as they limped to the living room.

The screaming was closer, filling the room, ringing in their ears.

It was getting colder and colder.

Tae, wild eyed, looked around, waiting for it.

Shivering, Jin looked around.

She was there.

Red lips, pointed teeth, and those gaping black holes for eyes.

"Tae, I can see her..." Jin said shakily.

Namjoon and Jungkook nodded.

 They saw her too.

The air grew heavy, the room cold, misting every breath they took. She gnashed her teeth, pointing a long pale finger at the scared soldier.

Though Tae was frightened and trembled, he held his ground as the dark shadows around her began to take shape and solidify.

The beast man, the eyeless woman, the hanging man, the burned woman, and Lee May stood before them, blocking their escape.

Namjoon and Jin collasped to the floor as if pinned, Jungkook felt a weight pulling him to his knees. Tae had drawn his gun out of instinct. "Let them go. Let them all go."

She laughed, her voice deep and masculine. It was clear she was the one the demon inhabited.

The ghosts began to advance upon them. Tae could see the others struggling to get up, fighting against the invisible force weighting them down. The ghosts drew closer, reaching out for them.
