It was a very silent group that sat in the living room in the early afternoon. Jungkook was scared, this was far more real than he expected. He looked at Tae out of the corner of his eye. He was getting a glimpse into the olders life, what he saw on a daily basis...it was terrifying.
He felt a flush burn across his cheeks. Tae was so strong and able to deal with such...horrible things everyday, his admiration for his old friend only fed his love for the older boy.
"Taehyung, I have some questions." came the soft voice of Namjoon from the couch across from them.
Jin, more composed, but very ashen and worried, was checking his footage again.
Tae had been deep in thought, trying to figure out a way out this mess. "Sorry, what?" he said, focusing on Namjoon's face.
Namjoon pulled a small notebook out of his pocket, flipping through it.
Tae grinned, he hadn't noticed the older taking notes. "Cop?" he asked.
Namjoon gave a half grin. "Yeah, detective actually." he said, eyes scanning the information in the notebook.
Jin looked at Namjoon surprised, leaving his console and joining him on the couch. "Really? That's cool." he said, resting his chin on the tallers shoulder. Lee May simply ignored them as she sorted through the hat box, muttering to herself while scribbling notes of her own.
"You said in the upper hallway to the...um couple, 'we meet again', what did you mean?"
"The guy in the tux showed up in my dining room before I left."
"What, why?" Jungkook asked.
Tae shrugged. "He was warning me away."
Everyone was surprised.
"You mean the dead know, are aware of what's going on?" Jin asked.
"Yeah, but I only...know him, not the girl."
Nodding, Namjoon turned to his notes. "You called out 'Jimin' when we were upstairs, just before the attack..."
Tae nodded.
"The teen who was murdered here for being gay?" Jin asked sympathetically.
"Yeah, I saw him earlier on the stairs, just staring outside."
"Was he the one who attacked us?" Jungkook asked.
Tae shook his head, rubbing at his eyes. "No, he warned us to run before she came at us."
"She?"
"Older woman, long stringy hair, night gown, she had clawed her own eyes out."
"The actress Jang Eunji maybe?" Namjoon questioned.
"Yeah, I think so." Jin responded looking sickened. "It was the actress, I saw her pulling her eyes out when she...touched me. Something made her go insane."
Tae felt that all to familiar chill creep across him again.
They were coming.
Or at least, one of them was.
"Tae?" Jungkook said softly, worriedly as the older went silent.
"This house is the worst example of what can happen to a lost soul, to be stuck, forever tied to a place like this, not able to move on..." Tae trailed off as an idea suddenly came to him. Tae hurried out towards the front hall, glancing up the stairs.
There, halfway up, was Jimin, looking out the window once again.
Moving from the stairs to the window, Tae pressed his face against the dirty glass, remembering the teen at the door, the beaten one he'd seen reaching out to him. As he looked across the overgrown front yard he spotted the figure standing by the large tree near the entrance. Tae looked from the boy outside to the one on the stairs.
"Taehyung?" Jungkook called to him looking worried, walking slowly across the foyer.
"He's waiting for you." Tae said to the blonde on the stairs.
Jimin casted him a small, sad smile that pulled at his heart.
"You're stuck here...yet he waits for you."
The depth of love the pair shared was beautiful, yet heartbreaking. Tae turned to Jungkook, Jin, and Namjoon, who looked at him oddly from the living room entrance. He gestured to the small landing midway up the stairs.
"Jimin is trapped here, in the house, but Hoseok is waiting for him. He was in the doorway when we were trying to get out, he was trying to help us leave. They're trying to help us escape."
He turned back to Jimin. "Can we get out?"
Lifeless eyes looked to him before silent lips formed a single word, 'heart'. He patted his chest, fading out.
"Tae, are you saying that Hoseok, who was beaten to death outside, is still out there, waiting?" Jin asked, his camera recording again.
Tae nodded absently, thinking again. "He said ' heart' was the way out..."
"It got cold." Jungkook said looking at his breath, Namjoon and Jin feeling it too.
"Someone's here aren't they?" Jin asked looking around with his camera.
Suddenly Jimin appeared again, mouthing frantically, 'Its coming!', turning to look at something Tae couldn't see. 'You need to get out!' he seemed to desperately yell at him.
The others watched as Taehyung fell forward on his hands and knees.
'Take them and get out!'
Just as suddenly as he arrived, Jimin was gone.
There was a silence, with the exception of Tae's harsh breathing. Jimin had been pushing on him, mentally trying to make him understand.
Jungkook reached out, wrapping an arm around him, pulling him close. "You okay?"
"I'm just going to splash some water on my face." Tae mumbled as he got slowly to his feet, moving carefully across the room and to the bathroom.

They looked to where Tae had disappeared to.
"He's carrying a terrible burden, his gift is as terrifying as it is amazing." Namjoon said settling beside Jin once again on the living room couch.
Jin, who had taped the whole thing, nodded in agreement before hesitantly reaching out to settle a hand on Namjoon's knee. "I can't read you." Jin said amazed, as instead of a flood of emotion ripping through him, there was nothing but calm feelings, like being on the ocean.
Chuckling, the detective settled a gentle hand on the blondes. "Maybe that's a good thing."
They smiled shyly at each other, Jungkook could see the new tentative relationship blossoming between the two.
His thoughts turned to what Tae had said about Jimin and Hoseok, who was waiting for his lover, a lover trapped inside a house that seemed truly evil.
Jungkook couldn't think of a more beautiful or heartbreaking story. He clenched his fists, he was done denying and ignoring what his heart was screaming at him. Without a word he stood, following after Tae, leaving Dr. Lee May to whatever had captured her mind so obsessively, and the two older boys still gazing into each others eyes.
