You woke up in your room, but it wasn't as peaceful as it usually is. You struggled to breath due to the pain, and your breaths were rapid and short. The pain was sharp like a knife and a bullet would be mercy in the moment since the pain only increased by the second.

You screamed and began to cry even though you never cry unless something really bad happens.

But this was really bad.

The pain was fucking horrible and you didn't know what to do. Your whole body shook and you had to use all the energy you had left to pull the blanket away that was covering your body since you were hot af. They had dressed you in a silk pajamas, which was kind of short so you could see all the bruises and wounds that was covering your legs and arms, which only made the pain worse.

Once again you screamed when the pain got worse. It was like you had cramp in every part of your body and there was nothing you could do about it, only wait until it was over.

"Y/n, are you oka- Y/N!!??" Taehyung had heard your screams and now rushed into the room towards the bed where you were struggling. He stared at you with wide eyes and didn't know what to do since he walked back and forth and wanted to touch you, but hesitated since he was scared he would hurt you. However, as soon as you saw him, it felt at least a little better.

"T-tae... It h-hurts..." You sobbed but the words sounded better in your brain than it did when you said them. In real life the sentence made you feel weak and powerless. Well, that was true though even if you didn't want to admit it.

Taehyung caressed your forehead that was hot af so he ran into the bathroom and grabbed a towel and put it under the water tap to make it wet and cold. He then ran back to you and gently placed the towel on your forehead as he sat down on the edge of the bed, seeing the tears on your cheeks. He caressed your bare arm with one hand and then put the blanket back over your legs.

"I knew the pill wouldn't work, just being a waste of time! As I thought... Instead of feeling the pain yesterday, you felt it when you woke up. Fucking Namjoon!" Taehyung growled for himself as your body slowly began to stop shaking.

"N-no, it wasn't his fault. I t-took the pill because I wanted to." You defended Namjoon since it actually was your fault too.

Why did you take the pill you stupid fuck? There's no hope left so why do you still believe that things will get better? Idiot...

"It's b-better now..." You said even though the pain was almost as awful as before. He sighed and let the towel stay on your forehead as he got up from the bed.

"Let me get the thermometer, I'll be back in a second." He softly smiled but the smile never reached his eyes and you could see the concern in his face as he walked out from the room.

You didn't have to look into a mirror to know that your neck was covered in scars and yes, they were washed and clean but the pain wasn't washed away. As he said, this was just waste of time, waste of hope.

Soon he came back holding the thermometer in his hands as he crouched down beside the bed and put it in your mouth as he waited for it to be done. You closed your eyes while you focused on your breathing to get something else to think of than the pain.

"You definitely got a fever." Taehyung stated when he gently took the thermometer out from your mouth and looked at the numbers.

"I'll tell someone to be here with you while I get some food, okay?"

You didn't have the energy to answer so instead you nodded your head while Taehyung removed the towel on your forehead and pulled the blanket over your chest as well. He pecked your forehead and left you once again, but that was good since you then could go through the pain without having to speak or act like it was better than it actually was.
