Chapter 28

"Listen carefully." Jimin started to caught your attention. You met his gaze but your eyes then fell on the papers he was holding in his hands, and on a shining thing that stuck out from his pocket.

A knife. A small pocketknife.

"This is how we'll do it." He said causing you to immediately look away from the knife so he wouldn't notice where you were looking. He pointed with his fingers over the map on the papers, showing every persons position. You did listen but you barely understood half of what he said. There were so many difficult words he used that you've never heard before, because you had never needed to know them, because you had never been in a war before. Especially not a vampire war.

"You understand?" He finally said and you hesitantly nodded but he knew that you lied.

"It's alright. Just stay with us all the time and don't do anything stupid."

"I'll try." You answered so quietly that you wondered if Jimin even heard. You moved your gaze up and looked out from the window, feeling the car slow down.

Shit. You were there.

Suddenly you remembered the knife Jimin had in his pocket. You looked over at him with wide eyes and saw how he was about to get out from the car. Without thinking you discreet put your hand in his pocket and in the same moment as he got up from his seat, you moved the knife up out form his pocket. Quickly you hid it in the pocket of your pants while waiting for him to notice what you've done, but he never did. He just walked out from the car like nothing happened.

He didn't see anything.

You gulped and took a deep breath realizing what you just had done. When you had stepped out from the car, all you could see was tall trees and grass and the car was parked in the middle of everything, it was barely any place for it since the trees were standing so close to each other. Even though it was morning, everything seemed so dark, almost like the moon would appear any second.

But the day had just started.
And so had the war.

"Lets go." Jin whispered and you were about to follow him along with the other members of BTS, but soon you noticed that you were not alone in the dark forest. Shadows stepped out from behind the trees and joined your group. You gulped feeling them surround you, but luckily BTS was closer to you than they were. At least for now.

You walked for a longer time than you thought. You didn't have any watch so you didn't know for how long you've been walking but for at least half an hour. When you saw FL's mansion appear behind the trees you were already a bit tired. However, you got a boost of adrenaline when realizing you were only a few meters away.

It looked just as scary as the last time you were here, but luckily they didn't have any guards behind the mansion. All of you sneaked up behind the house, to the tunnel they had dug. First you didn't see where it was, but soon they lifted away something so the tunnel got revealed. They had made a lid out of wooden planks and then covered it with dirt to make it seem like it was just a part of the ground.

One after one, they jumped down in the tunnel, you went after Jimin and after him all the other vampire groups came. It was dark and you had to guess where you should put your feet since you couldn't see the ground. The tunnel got tinier and soon you had to go on all four to fit in the small way.
You got dirty but you didn't mind, the thing you feared the most in the moment was if a rat would jump up in your face because then you would definitely scream.

After crawling there for a while, you finally heard a creak, which meant that something went open. When you had crawled out from the tunnel, you sat down on the floor and saw that the 'door' out from the tunnel was a part of the glass floor that you could lift up. If you didn't know anything, you would never notice that little crack that showed the lines of the door. No wonder why FL hasn't figured anything out yet, as far as you know.
