Chapter 29

It wasn't a pleasant coldness that haunted your shaking body as you ran. No matter how warm the blood in your veins was and no matter how fast your heart was beating, your face and skin were frozen.

An echo sound was made when your boots ran over the tiny way made out of metal strings. It sounded so loud in your ears, but soon something interrupted your mind and shut out all the annoying sounds.

A dead body was laying right in front of your feet and you were an inch from running over it. It was laying with the head facing the metal floor while red blood had formed a pool of blood around the head.  The worst thing was that you didn't need to turn the body around to know who it was.

Lucas was dead and even though he was a vampire he haven't had the time to heal himself since his brain got too damaged because of your knife.

A terrible smell grew in your nose and you began to cough and feel queasy. You put your hand over your mouth and in that moment, all you wanted to do was to vomit. The smell of the dead body was as a rotten piece of meat while the scent still was sickening sweet. It got into your throat and you could taste it on your tongue.

You began to panic since you realized the hallway was formed as a circle, you have been running aroudn and the only way out was the door you came in from and what was upstairs was not where you wanted to go.

However you couldn't handle the smell anymore and the sight of Lucas dead body so you had no other choice than to go back up the stairs.

But in the same moment as you were about to approach the door, you saw something black laying on the ground in his hand.

A gun.

You knew you couldn't survive on that pocketknife any longer and that the gun was necessary but the smell and the sight made you terrified and disgusted. Anyway, you gulped and took a deep breath. You crouched down beside him and, as fast as you could, grabbed the gun out from his ice-cold hand. You put it in your pocket and before you vomited, you rushed through the door and quickly locked it to keep the smell away as you slowly and quietly began to walk upstairs, trying to hear any sounds that could give you some clues about what was going on.

When you had made it halfway you realized that you already had broke against BTS's rules.

'You're not allowed to be alone', that was what Jin had told you in the car on the way here. Lol that went great.

But you didn't have the time to think of the punishments now so you shrugged it off and kept on walking.

Yes, you could stay and hide here on the staircase but as said; you wanted to fight. You wanted show that you were worthy even though killing Lucas wasn't the funniest thing you've done, but you didn't want to stay here. And what if they haven't found Jungkook yet? You won't abandon him since you knew he would never abandon you.

When you arrived you put your ear against the door and listened carefully. You did hear gunshots and you did hear screams but that didn't stop you.

You opened the door and did your best to keep unnoticed. You pressed your body against the back of the tall pillars as you moved further down the hallway to the main door.

Some boys and guards were still fighting, but now the floor wasn't covered with glass – now the floor was covered with blood and dead or suffering bodies. You wanted to rush to those who were still alive but you didn't want to stop their healing process and you knew you couldn't help them even if you tried.

You searched with your gaze but none of the BTS boys were laying on the floor, which was good because that meant that they were still alive. However, you didn't see any members of FL either, which caused you to gulp of fear.
