"Get up, you have not completed the set yet. You can get a drink when we are done." Those were the words screamed at a four year old as he was lying on the ground vomiting.
This was his "training" his father forced him to do. They were mostly just beatings, but he didn't, Endeavor would hurt his mom and siblings. It wasn't fair, but he couldn't say anything for fear of his father.
The only ones that really comforted him was his older brother and mother. His mother was sent to a mental hospital after the 'incident', so she couldn't protect him anymore. His brother would always help Shoto with first aid after training. This was the closest he was allowed to get to his older siblings. Then one day his brother left. No one knew where he went and no one cared except Shoto.
Shoto was alone. No one could help him but himself. So before he went to his middle school, he took the books out of his back pack. He stuffed as many thing as he could leaving room for the food he would take.
He father left for work early that day so he did have to sneak to the kitchen. He went to the pantry and began to stuff his bag and then his pockets. He knew he would have to find a way to get food eventually, but he wanted enough so that he could worry about finding a shelter first. A shelter that his father could never find.
Once he was done packing, he put on his shoes, grabbed coat and left. He never once looked back he was going to live as far way from there was his two little feet could carry him. He ran and ran. He had to be careful as to not be seen by any heroes because they might take him back to that house. That was the last thing he wanted.
Endeavors POV I dont know what angle I wanna write this on so I will write all!
It's been a week since Shoto ran away. 'I know he is just testing my patience. He will come back when he gets hungry' I still haven't in formed any one about him running, and I dont plan on it. It would look bad on my part, so when I go out for hero work I look for him. 'He can't get to far he doesn't have much food and is only eleven. Once I find him, he is going to die.'
Shoto's POV
'I've been living under a bridge for a week now and slowly running out of food, but I will NEVER go back. If I cut the portions to a quarterand eat one a day I will have enough for the next week. It doesn't sound fun, but it no different from when father locks me in my room for days at a time.'
By the time decide how I'm gonna split the rest of my food for the week and justify my reason to myself, it's already dark. 'I guess I should sleep now, but it is sooo cold. I will Never use my fire' so I bundled up I all the clothes I had in my bag and then used the bag as a pillow.
It took a long time to fall asleep, but eventually I fell asleep.
???'s POV I can do that right? Oh well.
"You sure this is the kid?" I whispered quietly so as not to wake the kid. "Yes, this is Shoto Todoroki."
"Then let's grab him and go."
